. Hell, I'd rather re-sign Higbee than go for Pitts. At least he knows the offense and gives a shit as a blocker.
^^This. Theres a reason why Higbee has lasted so long on this team. Looking at the Rams draft history since McVay got here, Higbee was one of the first players to have his job up for grabs.
He might not be the most athletic, but he plays his guts out. Before the Rams replace Higbee, they had better be sure they have the right guy.

Im not against Higs returning on a smaller Contract. Hopefully Ferg can be that guy!

If they were smart, they’d try to trade him for a decent pick. Draft a talented WR and let the other teams sign pickens to a lucrative long term deal.

Aaron Rogers needs to retire. He was not the same last year and next year will be worse. He'll probably get injured too. Pittsburg will go down without Tomlin and McCarthy will go down with old man Rogers.

I'm tired of lookin at the bastard. But players determine when it's time to retire. And he showed he still has it to some extent, at least he's still probably better than at least half the QBs in this league.

My question with McCarthy is can he move that offense forward without the bottom dropping out defensively. Because Pittsburgh fans have been spoiled by strong defenses so I don't think that will go over well. But they need to get Rodgers some weapons if he's returning. It is pointless to insert a QB of his age and experience and have him throw to garbage options. Meaning as playoff teams go they've gotta be the worst offensive roster.

Either way I think McCarthy in Pittsburgh is probably going to end badly, but if he can get enough pieces in there it's possible the coach who I've always thought looks like he's got a mild case of down's syndrome could succeed there.

Well... he's probably as good as Purdy, so I hope his agent demands more money... like 15-20 mil per year.

If we were to replace Tyler Higbee with a TE in FA I would love to bring in Kelce for a year. Still very productive for his age, can block, and you may be able to get him for relatively cheap.

Not to mention it would wonders for Ferguson long term to be able to learn from him.

No thank you. Dude is a big baby and I’d rather watch football than see his girlfriend every play
