If we come out of this draft with a number three WR, an ILB who can tackle and cover, and some OT and Special Teams depth, I will consider this a huge win.
FWIW, I feel like that's prob one too many spots for us to fill in this draft.

But yes, if we did that in this draft it should be considered an A and A+ if one of them becomes a stud.

It makes sense the Rams would try to trade a RB if they got Love, but it wouldn't be a requireme

Trade with Titans for No. 4

  • Rams trade: No. 13 + 2027 first-round pick
  • Titans trade: No. 4
But I believe I said in the post you first responded to. And I quote, "I think Love will last to 6 or 7, so the Rams could go get him without giving up next year's capital" Then I posted how and who. You saw all that, right?

My prediction: lots of surprises and unexpected (compared to Media/etc. mocks) results. You're going to have varied player rankings among the different teams -- much more so than in prior years simply due to the lack of separation among & within the tiers of players.

which should make for a really fun couple of days for us NFL fans.

I agree. I think many teams will just go with "their guy" rather than attempt to split hairs over grades.
And I think it could be a long night with multiple trades.

I don't believe anyone knows shit about what the Rams think.

Well, I remember years ago people saying the Rams were gonna take Tavon Austin in round 1 and I refused to believe it...until it happened.
Different regime, but still.

This thread is gold. It is such an exciting year.

Still can’t believe we didn’t bring home a title last year but I do feel like we are the best team in the league and for the best team to have the 13 pick feels almost unfair.

As usual, I have very little idea what the Rams will or even should do with this pick. If they take the QB - it means they believe in him and that is enough for me. We aren’t likely to sniff the top half of a draft again and this may be our shot at an heir apparent.

WR feels likely and there are some sexy picks there. Even Sadiq fits in that conversation nicely.

O Line wouldn’t bother me if it’s a 10-15 year hit it and forget it player.

Edge could be a sneaky good find considering we so often play with the lead. Impact pass rushers are premium picks and we don’t get many premium picks

Corner or safety could still be in the plans - corner is that premium position again and safety may just be a case of bpa fell or they fell in love with McNeil-Warren or Thieneman.

Maybe Styles drops and we finally get that linebacker we have always wanted.

Maybe Love drops and we take a dynamic back.

So many ways it could go and - for me - so few bad answers.

Anyway - I’ve been more of a lurker than a contributor this year cause I know when I don’t know but I really appreciate the work that most of yall put in here. Keep it up and I can’t wait to hear why you all hate the pick.

Good to see you around 12.

There’s no doubt in my mind the Rams will make the right call with their R1.13 draft pick. I’d be ecstatic by a trade down that gives them a later R1 + another R2 pick but I’d be satisfied if they used their R1.13 pick for one of their projected “plug and play” studs. As long as it supports the 2026 “All In” commitment.

Yes, and the link you provided, the first suggestion had them trading next year's 1st round pick. Didnt seem like the right article to support the claim.
