That would be great, but, I'd say there is less then 5% chance he gets to 13. Bengals and Cowpokes are desperate for a CB. Delane would probably be BPA if he were to fall. Though, I do like Forbes at CB3. Think we'd be equal to the eagles as league best if we managed to get Delane.
Somebody has to fall though. It feels like there's 16 players projected to be gone before our 13th pick. Lol.

I think Schefter is correct. Unless someone jumps them.
Although not popular, I can see the Rams trying to jump up if they really like Love that much if this is the case. Personally, I think if the Commodes pass on Love though, that possiblity increases quite a bit more. Not really sure McVay could stay away from a toy that shiny.

He won't be one of them IMO. Most guys have warts in the top 10 this year, outside of needing to be slightly better against the run, he really has a clean resume.

Wasn't Mitchell drafted that late because he played at Toledo? Delane won't have that issue.

I'm not sure. He was lights out at the senior bowl and then crushed the combine. But corners who aren't physically marveled tend to drop further than they should. Delane checks boxes, but that might keep top teams away.

I would agree except that the Rams landed Verse pretty late too.
It was probably more about all of those QBs going early.
A QB run can really skew the 1rst round.

13.

Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

The Rams don't have many glaring needs, so there's an argument for them to draft a player who can boost their Super Bowl odds immediately. However, Freeling is too good of a prospect to pass up if the board fell this way. He has the most upside of any offensive lineman in this draft, with excellent size (6-7, 315 pounds) and athleticism (4.93-second 40-yard dash).

With only 18 starts under his belt, Freeling would need time to develop into a left tackle at the next level. In Los Angeles, he would have the chance to be a sixth offensive lineman for a season, as Alaric Jackson is the current starting left tackle.

61.

Chris Bell, WR, Louisville

Bell has the skill to be gone long before this pick, but he's still recovering from an ACL tear this past November. The Rams have an enviable starting receiver duo in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, which would ease the early burden on Bell. The 6-foot-2, 222-pounder is extremely explosive in the open field and could provide depth behind both stars.
