It being Valentines Day, I don't know who I love more. My wife, or Tyler Higbee when he celebrates scoring a touchdown.

Good season for the group. Shocked and surprised that Davis took more of a physical role.

But, oh if not for those costly drops.

Aside from the Parkinson drop on third-and-one, in the fourth quarter vs. Seattle, did you have any specific TE-drops in mind? I thought Ferguson had a few drops here-and-there.
Can't think of any specific drops off the top of my head right now.

But, I do remember cringing at some drive killers during the season. I think by each of them.

Side note:
Looks like Rams finished 6th in the league in dropped passes with 28. Guessing Davante may have had the most.

Right? Parkinson had a few amazing catches, but two or three brutal drops in the last two seahawk games.

That catch vs Carolina almost made up for them. Almost. It was a hell of a play.
I was at the LIONS game.Don’t think he wasn’t a BIG part of why The Rams WON !!

He had a couple nice games against Seattle & Tampa Bay before that game.CAROLINA Coby didn’t even SCORE!!

Seeing him LIVE at SOFI looking like a WR was impressive.Go look back at The High Lights. He had over what 100 yards ??? I know 2 TD’s & like 5 catches!! Pretty Sweet

I am always a little dubious on how drops are determined but I did look at Pro Football Reference, which has drops by players; and the Rams do indeed total 28. Adams had the most with 5, followed by Nacua with 4 and 3 each for the TEs (Higbee, Parkinson and Allen). Oddly, to me, Ferguson was not credited with a drop.

I’m assuming Higbee is gone and Davis has hit his ceiling. If the Rams cannot get an elite WR via draft in R1 - I’d be good with adding a TE. Say Stowers with the R2 pick. I liked the 13 formations. Id also pick up a good FA WR3 in the event of not being able to pick up an elite WR in the draft.

Fergy from my memory had a lot of catches where they would have been difficult to bring in but they were also there for an elite player to make a play - no outright drops, per se. I think it was a combo of not being on the same page with Stafford on the route and where he like's the ball (or where he's supposed to be turned to for the ball) and a lack of elite hands.

He doesn't have bad hands but he doesn't really have good hands either. Hope he can work on it. There were one or two where I think he was clap attacking the ball which was an issue in college.

They consider drops as “routine” passes, meaning there was no jumping, no contorting. I can’t think of a pass to Ferguson that he dropped that he was “routine.” Most of the not caught passes we wanted him to come down with were contested or in traffic…at least that I can remember…
