You folks are way to hard on Limmer. He's a 6th round pick. Used to be 1st to 3rd rounders sat on the bench 3 or 4 years before they broke in. Center is the toughest OL position to learn. In time Limmer will learn, not in just one season. They're doing it right by him being first off the bench playing guard. He's right next to Shelton, the savant of line calling and the best teacher of playing center in the N FL.
Used those draft picks for a new QB.
It’s more than just play calling. He’s out there whiffing, killing drives, getting Stafford killed. Maybe he’ll be better in the future but our window is now and we don’t have time to wait.

Why is it every year we lose two to three OLine in week one?

I think it is because they are not used to the game speed at the start of the year and get themselves susceptible to an injury.

I could be wrong but seems quite coincidental that the main injury's we get is at the start of the season.

Farr brought this up on Between the Horns last night.

He does have a point, your body isn't callused from practice and scrimmage like it is in real games.

Being in jujitsu and judo for the last 15 years I can say this is true, most people get injured coming back in after some time off.

So it would be better for them to get injured in a preseason game? That would make them more ready for the opener?
