He could ask but he wouldn't get Verse. The Rams offering the Falcons pick could give them a shot at drafting a Parson's level player unless Atlanta does much better than expected. If they want a shot at drafting another player at Parson’s level then trading with a playoff team reduces those chances.
Thats why I said earlier that Jerry would ask the Rams for Verse in a trade.
Not if you draft like the Rams! HahahahaTwo firsts round picks, a second and a third from a good team could end up being not-so-great depending on the drafts. Some drafts like last years are deep in first round picks, like this year. Some are very deep, like the 2024 draft.
Maybe they are holding out for a worse team to make a similar offer. Two first round picks from a team that is likely to be picking in the top ten would likely garner a better return.
I might be more inclined to buy his inside information. And with the Count and Big Bird as his sources? Fuhgetaboutit.
never trust a cowboy fan to tell you the truth about their team, they don't know what it isWhat? You doubt Ernie?
That kid is in a completely different situation than a vet like Garrapolo, who has already made big money. First off, he isn't a FA, and second he is not yet a starter. Garrapolo, believe it or not, had a say in how long his contract would be. He wasn't going to lock himself into being Stafford's back up gor multiple years as he is not getting any younger either.Yep, teams that want to keep the Vet around, sign them for 2 years
I have to explain this to you again? That kid is in a completely different situation than a vet like Garrapolo, who has already made big money. First off, he isn't a FA, and second he is not yet a starter. Garrapolo, believe it or not, had a say in how long his contract would be. It makes sense for Garrapolo to see how this shakes out before locking himself into being Ram for several years. Not sure why that is so hard to understand. It takes two sides to agree to a contract.
Are you sure you're not the real Dieter Brock?
Nonsense... not when talking about a former superbowl starting QB who is 33 yrs old and is waiting for another quality starting opportunity. Jimmy was simply willing to take it a year at a time until their is clarity on Stafford.I have to explain this to you again?
Meh, not worth the effort
It's common for vets to sign 2 year deals, a simple google search verifies that
But you do you
Kind of strange that Rattler has been in the league a year already and is still a year younger.
What's even weirder, is that they both have the same Birthday, September 28

Sorry how things work dont fit in to your silly narrativeNonsense... not when talking about a former superbowl starting QB who is 33 yrs old and is waiting for another quality starting opportunity. Jimmy was simply willing to take it a year at a time until their is clarity on Stafford.
Every situation is different. For you to put them all into a box and say they are the same is quite frankly disappointing. You are better than that... I thought.
What matters to Jerruh is Schotty will toss his ancient salad in his overpriced tour bus post-game.I would have taken that deal. Cowboys with Brian Schottenheimer as their Head Coach are going nowhere.
Yes and the player's association is guilty of allowing this to occur and not doing shit to change it. They should get with the owners and agree on a limit of percentage of the cap that can be spent on QBs. There has to be a range where these guys get good pay when they produce while also allowing some of that cap to go to their teammates.MLB doesn't have much of a middle class.
If you're not a high round pick you are starving until you hit arbitration.
Most players wash out before then.
So, most don't make squat, a tiny percentage are extremely wealthy and not much of a middle class, so to speak.
Yeah I keep seeing these media takes on this and it amazes me that so many of them seem to think the team should bet on a QB who took himself out of a game because he was fucking tired. Blows my mind. McVay would axe that motherfucker post-game. He'd be off the team. Unbelievable.Charles Robinson said on his pod that part of Anthony Robinson getting passed over for Daniel Jones is that even in year three, his oline had to meet with him in training camp to talk to him about making sure his cadence was consistent so they wouldn't have false starts and consistent pockets.
Jeeeeeesus. This is football 101.
"The next Kurt Warner!"Who the F is Tyson Bagent?
Bagent got a ton of attention last Summer on Hard Knocks. It was clear the Organization really liked him; and, it would seem, new Head Coach Ben Johnson has been impressed.Who the F is Tyson Bagent?
Edit - had to look him up. Div II QB for Sheperd College - broke every QB record for the school (which I would think wouldn't be too hard)
