He and his family have been penny pinching bastids for years. It's weird to see him actually lock up all those guys. Figured at least Higgins was going to hit the market. How so? He's gonna spend up to the salary cap just like everyone else

Didnt mean to single you out, I see this sort of thing posted about owners and dont get it.He and his family have been penny pinching bastids for years. It's weird to see him actually lock up all those guys. Figured at least Higgins was going to hit the market.
I would have definitely traded Higgins also. He's now the 9th highest paid WR and I personally don't think he's the 9th best WR in the league. He good, not great IMO.I’m honestly shocked they did this. Even most Bengals fans are surprised Mike Brown dolled out the cash. I would have preferred to trade Higgins for a 1st round pick and tried to rebuild the defense. But that offense is going to score points, healthy permitting of course.
He’s only played in 12 games, each of the last two seasons. I’d say that’s a risky contract.I would have definitely traded Higgins also. He's now the 9th highest paid WR and I personally don't think he's the 9th best WR in the league. He good, not great IMO.
You thought their defense was bad last year…Higgins and Chase sign deals with Bengals. Chase gets $161 Million over 4 years with $112 guaranteed and Higgins gets $115 million over 4 years with 2 guaranteed. WOW!

I don't think it's that. Joe Burrow was pushing for it and it sounds like the Bengals wanted to keep him happy. Sounds like they're leaning into their strength as an offense. Unfortunately their defense is also very offensive lolHe’s only played in 12 games, each of the last two seasons. I’d say that’s a risky contract.
But, could this be a reflection on what NFL teams think about this receiving class?
Modern-day Dan Fouts SD Chargers...all offense and no defense. May as well load up their OL in the draft and become dominant on one side of the ball for now.I don't think it's that. Somebody been feeding Lynch stupid pills for the last month or so…

Lol at the Bengals. They missed the playoffs last year with all of that offense. Now they've lost Hendrickson and God knows who else on defense. The Math ain't mathin for me...
I think Lynch is so embarrassed to be associated with that team that he's trying to get fired.Somebody been feeding Lynch stupid pills for the last month or so…
