Spotrac has added the contracts for several signings.

Spotrac has been screwed-up recently ... it's Rams' cap number is way off because it is counting Kupp twice. However, it has added the contracts for Landman, Rivers, Murchison and Witherspoon. I would take Spotrac with a grain-of-salt but these are probably correct.

All are one-year deals, with the first three around $1.1M each; and Witherspoon is one-year and $1.255M.

If those are correct - wow. Crazy to think Landman and Witherspoon are barely over $1M, meanwhile TuTu/Shelton are getting $10M & $6M

I wonder why it's taking so long for Stafford's to show? That's the big one.

That's insane. Getting Landman and Witherspoon that cheap is incredible value.

For years, I would put on the Boomer (Esiason) and Gio (previously Carton) morning show that's on NY radio and simulcast on CBS Sports to hear Esiason's NFL takes.

Didn't always agree with Boomer but did like to hear his thoughts on NFL topics. However, over the last few years I have noticed (my opinion) that Esiason has gotten lazy with his takes It's common with a lot of older, established guys ... They just don't put in the same effort. By-the-way, I am the same age as Boomer.

It just seems to me that his NFL takes are now often weak in that he will say things that are not accurate; and that makes his opinions feel uninformed. I don't listen/watch near as much as I used to.

I turned on the show this morning to hear his take on the Giants signing Wilson (it is primarily a NYC show).

Boomer likes the signing ... OK. His first comment was that Russell Wilson is a "First Ballot Hall of Famer" ... said it twice ... didn't couch it with an 'I think" or 'I believe he should be' ... stated it as a fact.

Few seconds later, in discussing Wilson's strengths, Esiason said " Wilson does NOT take sacks".

Now, reasonable NFL fans can disagree but ... Come-On!!!
Is Russell Wilson a 1st ballot HOF?
Doesn't Russell Wilson take a lot of sacks?

I got to find a new morning show.
I just put on the WFAN afternoon Evan and Tiki show (also simulcast).

Evan Roberts is an absolute nothing in my opinion but has been on the air for a long time. Tiki Barber is a former-NFL player (huge ego). So, they are discussing the Wilson signing and the NFL Draft; and what the local teams might do at Quarterback in the Draft.

Evan brings up Tyler Shough as a fast-riser; and he and Tiki start a discussion about the Louisville QB.

Thing is, they are debating how to pronounce his last name ... they suggest ... "Show ... Shoe ... Such ... Shau" before settling on "Show" ... For Crying-Out-Loud ... it's SHUCK!!!

This is their job! It's a great job!!! Be well-paid to talk sports for 4 hours a day. Football is the #1 sport.
The NFL Draft is a popular topic and big news. Both NY teams need a quarterback for the future.

I mean ... Come-On ... put in some Fucking Work!

The two Quarterbacks now with the Giants. Goofy, not serious, authentic Jameis Winston & the Stoic, Serious, inauthentic Russell Wilson.

Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground
You in mid-air
Send in the clowns
Yeah honestly it's a damn circus. Though again I don't hate Jameis throwing to Nabers. Problem is he'll light it up one game then the next complete TD passes to the defense.

Wow. I can't imagine what would go to Dallas in return because the Browns are fucking idiots. Obviously the second overall pick, but what players?

Grain of salt, indeed, but maybe...?
No chance the 2nd pick would be involved, if there was any truth to this, it's a reset year year and Dallas is just dumping salary

Well, whether right or wrong, the contracts show you the value the Rams place on these guys.

Landman and Witherspoon are just little better than JAGS to the Rams.

As an owner once said, contracts don't lie.

Yeah ... good point but Shelton's 2025 cap hit to the Rams is $4.5M.
We’ve had this argument and we disagree. That’s fine.
Cap hit 4.5M - but that’s because the other 1.5m is pushed to next year. It’s $6m guaranteed for 2025. Idc how you slice it for purposes of what the guy got. If you are looking in a vacuum at 2025 cap like you are, then 4.5m. I’m looking at what it truly is overall.

Yeah, why would Dak or Cousins waive their no trade clause to go to Cleveland of all places
That’s my thinking as well. I could see Cousins because he would have a chance to start. But Dak? Do we know he has a no trade clause?
