Definitely offer them a low pick for him. Unless McVay didn't like what he heard from Liam Coen about him.

If Stafford wins a title and rides into the sunset that would give them a bridge option in '26 to compete with whomever while the QB draft pick takes a redshirt.
Hold on now…

Don’t know what your issue is; Mizzou beat them quite handily.

Guess you just have skill issue.
We beat them all the time..

Now if you want to play a real team…

What does he get if he doesn't make the roster?
NFL players, both veterans and first-year players, are paid during training camp. Veteran players receive $3,200 per week during the 2023-2024 seasons, increasing to $3,500 in 2025-2026. First-year players (including rookies and undrafted players) receive $1,850 per week during the 2023-2024 seasons, increasing to $2,000 per week in 2025-2026, according to AS USA and MARCA.

They are foolish if they don’t pay him.
And cheap!!!

The guy played on some pretty shitty Washington teams prior to last year. 3-13, 7-9, 7-10, 8-8-1, 4-13. Their leading receiver the last 6 years (his entire career). 460 receptions, 6379 yards, 38 TDs and that's with some pretty suspect QB play. Keenum, Alex Smith, Heinecke, Howell and finally a good one in Daniels. Let em go, reap what you sow. He'd be a perfect fit in KC.

It would basically be swapping him out for Deebo. Crazy.

This was announced on here and I saw someone say Winn signed this big contract to be a camp arm.

Why did he need to sign a two year deal to be in camp six weeks? I thought Training Camp this year is around $4,000 per week and is not a part of a players contract, which they get paid weekly during the season.

That's his cap hit (and compensation) if he makes the 53-man roster ... which is unlikely.
The contract probably has no guarantees, so no salary, no cap hit and no Dead-$ if he is cut.

Same as many other players on the training camp roster. For example, KR Xavier Smith. If Smith makes the 53, he gets $960, 000 salary, and the cap hit is $960,000. If he is cut, no salary and no cap hit, with no Dead-$.
