Agreed. The best player we got won’t be known until next years draft.

Meanwhile we got potential starters at TE, iLB and playable depth guys at OLB, RB and DT (RB a future starter).

Four starters from this draft in 1-2 years: TE, RB, iLB and ATL 2026 1st. Plus a maniac OLB pass rusher and rotational DT.
I like the draft, the players have the same passion, love to play the game and have attitudes like our last 2 drafts. Should fit right in with the great culture we have.

The fact that we haven't addressed WR or OT yet, it will make us an attractive spot to the top UDFA's at those positions.
Quite possibly by design. :thumbsup1:
What's a Konata Mumpfield?

After watching Mumpfield's highlights I realize his QB was dogshit. Always had to adjust to catch the floppy dog that was thrown to him.
The PFF stream had crazy nerd energy when he was drafted. They went on about him quite a bit.

Apparently he's a smooth route runner who fits McVay nicely, little bit of inconsistency but when he's on some snaps they were wowed.

If it was me I woulda taken Restrepo round 7. Just saying. I'd rather have the high production dude with shitty athleticism late than the lottery ticket.

His best ability seems to be his route running and yup we all know that's huge with Coach.

What went wrong pre-draft?
He was pegged as a 4-3 weak side LB who has trouble getting off blocks, which I am guessing limited his appeal. We play more of a hybrid system so fingers crossed he will do well but I lost a little interest in him, as a result, and was hoping we took Jack Kiser. That said I thought he could go no later than round 3 so this feels like a steal

Other than picking up the first next year, this draft has to end our streak of excellent drafts. Has to.
if ferguson works out this could be a very good draft. mcvay says he wants to have a good running game. if ferg woks out i could see hig ferg and maybe that huge te that we got from the sea chicken one of the three would line up as a full back. then we plug in hunter and his 4.4 speed that makes this draft. if ferg doesn't workout you probaly right about this draft
