Ferguson wasn't on my list, but I will always trust McVay over my own instincts when it comes to pass catchers.

Ehh. He’s really only hit on Kupp and Nacua. So I’m hesitant of his intincts.

Ferguson has a chance to grow into a stud in this offense. If you want a high end stud TE you either draft one who has it all, like Warren, or if you never get to pick high enough to find one of those you take the high end talent and develop him.

Also this kid is no scrub. Not like his tools aren't translating or anything.

One thing that he seems to have from these highlights is that he has better hands than Higbee. He seems to make the contested catch whereas that was Higbees biggest weakness.

I didn’t watch the combine. I Just look at the film. I do not see it. He is a long strider due to his size so….maybe that’s why that speed doesn’t translate to the eye.

I think we see a lot of 2 TE sets and Ferguson is on the field in obvious passing downs alone at TE.
