Milroe still hanging out in the green room?
Was watching the Tyler Booker highlights and couldnt help but not on virtually every play what a freak athlete Milroe was. Damn he can flat out fly. Looked like the road runner pulling away from Wiley Coyote.

wow a 1st round pick they gave up...

kind of crazy.

Even crazier, they gave up a first next year to pick James Pierce. :laugh4:
I find it funny though that those who said we had to use that 26th pick because this is a win now team are fine with trading down to 46 and giving up a 3rd this year.

So obviously it's not an "all in" year... And I like the trade, but as I had stated this is about expanding the window and this trade does that while not helping us much this year unfortunately. I do hate losing the 3rd. Wish we would have at least gotten a 5th this year instead of the 7th.

I think most here felt a trade back was the best option, didn’t they? This is not a great draft. Two firsts next year could be better than having four first round picks this year if the draft class is deeper or it gets the Rams a worthwhile future QB in round next year.
Why aren't you guys talking about ILBs? We need to draft 2 of them!!!!!!!!
Maybe because this is not a good draft class to find a linebacker?

Rams could still get 3 starters out of this draft.
Really? How?

I didn't think they were going to get 3 starters even if they had kept 26. They don't have many holes; not many obvious places where a rookie would surpass want they already have.

Also, I think we traded out and gave up a 3rd because this isn't the strongest draft.

When I say that, I mean guys that will be active on the roster and active on game day. Guys that are going to play at least a little. You could go CB, WR, RB, and TE with picks 46/90/126 and trade up with 190/195/201/202.

I'll start the "Please don't tip off picks, ESPN/NFL network broadcast will lag far behind"
I took my son to see Revenge of the Sith, re-released for the 20th anniversary. So I missed everything. So this entire thread is messing with me in real time lol

Holy FUCKBALLS!!!!

All you guys bashing Snead for getting rolled, now's the time for your mea culpa.

That's a fucking GREAT package!!!
I take back everything I ever said after the Ramsey to Miami deal.

WOW...26 is the year to grab the QB.

2? I would respectfully disagree
Do you remember all of those long runs we gave up? Remember saquion Barkley? Did you know we have up an average of like 130yds on the ground and ranked 22 in run D? We haven't put an emphasis on drafting a MLB since like 2005 lol.

According to Diana Rusinni other teams said the Rams were trying to trade up in the draft so they could pick Tet McMillan

Two things that stood out from McVay's comments tonight:

1. A trade back was viewed as the "most likely" scenario.

2. Their compensation for trading back was "greater than they anticipated."

Sounds good!

I hear what you are saying and I agree. But, If they thought they had to upgrade the position through the draft, which may still, why did they sign Troy Reeder and Nate Landman? I think they will draft an ILB to compete with the others. But, if they draft a second LB, will likely be a specials teams player and possibly have a difficult time making the roster.
