jeezus... can't hold a 5 run lead and lose 13-12.. then next day get skunked 2-0

and that was against the Marlins !!

Don't worry; the Marlins shut us out twice in a row (and the Padres shut us out to make it three games in a row). Nothing more embarrassing than that.

Don't give up Lombard.
Give up a couple of those catching prospects, of which there are about 50 in the system.

Warren is pitching extremely well. Schlittler looks like the real deal. Gil is coming back. Yarbrough will be back, probably to the bullpen.

@dieterbrock was right. McMahon is turning out to be a huge improvement. His defense alone is worth it. They got him relatively cheap.

I like the trades. I’d rather have been able to keep one of the minor league catchers. Supposedly Perez is the one they are highest on. Both catchers the Yankees have traded recently are playing well. Narvaez (Boston) and Ramirez (Marlins) look like good players. They need a replacement for Wells down the road. He doesn’t hit. He’s making me miss Higashioka. But Bednar was a great acquisition.

I like the trades. I do think that they should have tried to trade the Airbender. He has not been good. Maybe he’s one of those guys that doesn’t like the pressure of playing for the Yankees.

Crazy win last night, now only 1 game back (really 2 because of tie break) with 5 to play
And a md race for the WC
 
Gonna come down who wins the next series! Yanks vs Bal, Tor VS TB.Hell Sox can still even Creep if they win all 4 of next games and Yanks and Tor lose at least 3. All other Divisions are pretty much set except the American East.

This season feels like the early 2000s with Yanks, Tor and Bos battling for Divison in last week of season.

Also battle for best record in league.
 
Yankees are 6-4 vs Baltimore this season, and I believe under .500 against the AL East

Could be a tough weekend
 
Yankees play Boston in the Wild Card... winner takes on Toronto
 
I need a rematch of the last WS. My boss is going to take me to the WS if the Dodgers make it. If both the Yankmees and the Dodgers make it, we’re flying to NY for a game.

Of course I'm excited for another Yankees postseason but I have to wonder how Juan Soto feels! At least he has that additional 5 - 6 million from the Mets and can watch the postseason from practically anywhere!! It's not about the ring, it's the bling!!
 
This year goes to show you every game matters, 1 more win the Yankees would be the 1 seed instead of the 4 seed. I can't imagine if we had Cole,Gil & Schmidt all season we probably win 110 games.
