Anthony Richardson got benched. If we're talking taking chances on a young quarterback to learn from Stafford, I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him, considering how much I loved his talent in the predraft process.

From what people around the league are saying about him (from Albert Breer), he's actually a good kid: just naive and honest to a fault, and I find that description especially apt, considering his nickname fiasco that he immediately regretted and came out saying he regretted it. I actually empathize with that, considering that I have those faults myself (with my autism. I'm not saying Richardson has autism, but I can empathize based on what my character faults are).

But anyway, huge arm, athletic, coachable, has some injury concerns, needs to mature (again, not a bad kid, but naive to a fault). I wouldn't mind giving up a 2026 second for him.

To me, this seems even less likely that the addition of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

The guy is twenty-two; and has played in a mere 10 games, and has only attempted a little over 200 passes. He was the 4th overall pick 18 months ago; and the GM and Head Coach that drafted him are still in place. That's just not a scenario to trade the player.

Maybe if Ballard and Steichen are both fired ... maybe. Irsay is bat-shit-crazy. However, just seems unlikely.

And he was just benched for Joe Flacco. And we all know that Irsay is one of the worst and most impatient owners in football.

True ... and accurate.

Another accurate way of describing the situation would be ... a tremendously talented young quarterback, with a bright future was sat down to re-group and re-focus; and a quality veteran was available to help a team that's one game out of first place

And we all know that Irsay is one of the worst and most impatient owners in football.

That's exactly why I wrote above "Irsay is bat-shit crazy".

Yeah, I missed the full-stop before "Maybe", so I read it as "Maybe Irsay is bat-shit crazy." That's my bad, especially since I've been churning out chapters of my Helluva Boss fanfic the past few days; I have no excuses, and I apologize for missing the full-stop.

There is nothing worse than a rich man's son.
