LFG Dodgers!! Lifelong fan here and there is just something special about beating the Yanks in the Series. 2 of the most historic and legendary teams. Next year will be fun too, with Ohtani pitching again!
I'm already thinking about the offseason. Buehler and Teoscar Hernandez are free agents now. Buehler might have pitched himself into a nice contract with his performance in the World Series and against the Mets. I hope the Dodgers bring him back.

Rumors have it the Dodgers will be in the running for Juan Soto. If they sign him its almost a sure thing Hernandez won't be back. Soto's a bigger offensive threat. But I think I'd rather have Hernandez for a couple reasons. He's a great clubhouse guy. And he's still an offensive threat as a 30 plus homerun guy. Plus, he won't cost near as much.

Next year their rotation will be Glasnow, Yamamoto, Stone, Ohtani for sure. Not sure about Dustin May. He's been out for a long time. You'd think he'll be ready. Knack might be in the mix. Casparius too. Glasnow you can't count on for a full season. He has a long history of injuries limiting his seasons. Yamamoto missed a couple months. Stone went down halfway through the season. I'm sure there is someone in the minors they're gonna be looking at.

Checked one of those sites that assign a market value to the players. They have Buehler's at 3.8 million for a one year contract. I doubt his agent would take that deal. But its possible they could bring him back at a good price. He sure looked like the pre injury Buehler his last two starts.

Add 2 or 3 that could be used from the minors. A few were used this tear too.

Walker Buehler with a beer bong wrapped around his neck while wearing a Hershiser jersey!

Its a shame it had to come when Kershaw couldn't play. Last time there was no parade because of covid. Hopefully he's got enough in the tank to help them win another one next year.

The best part is that WAS The Bulldogs jersey.
They switched because Walker wanted to wear Hersh’s jersey.

I'm pretty much the same. But lately I haven't watched the NBA games until the playoffs. And its just the Lakers for me. Funny, but if the Dodgers are losing so much I know they aren't winning, I don't wanna watch the rest of the game. I get too frustrated with them because I know they're better than that. When it comes to the Rams they could be losing by 30 and I will watch to the end.
Same, I change the channel if any of my teams play poorly and fall far behind. I may check the score and go back later but it sucks watching them play like sh#!t.

WS Game 5 I changed channel down 5-0 but I snuck back on when the bases were loaded Lol. Caught all the Yankee screw ups on replays.

Me too. I figured they had one to give and they were playing like it. They'll just have to win it in LA. Then my son calls me and says "You watching it?" I said "I don't wanna see the lose. They'll win it in front of there home crowd". He says "Dad, its 5-3 and the have guys on base". So I turned it back to the game just in time to see Teoscar tied the game with a double. At that point I decided whatever happens I'm not gonna change it.

2025 Pitching Staff Possibilities

Ohtani Yamamoto Glasnow Flaherty Buehler Kershaw Gonsolin May Stone Miller

Then there is Max Fried and the other Japanese pitcher that have been linked to them

I see a bunch of trades coming - can't keep them all - and probably don't sign Flaherty or Buehler

It sure looked like Buehler was returning to form. Would like to see him re-signed. Wouldn't mind Flaherty too as he seemed to be the one guy that stays healthy. But Ohtani, May and Stone added to the rotation would be solid. Even without Buehler and Flaherty. Maybe whatever the problem with Miller can be corrected in spring training. He has great stuff. Just hasn't learned how to use it.

Some think the Dodgers are front runners for the top Japanese pitcher. Apparently he has to be listed as an amateur because he's under 25. Which means there is a limit to how much they can offer. All things being equal you would think he'll want to join a team on the west coast with two other Japanese stars. Oh, and probably favorites to return to the World Series.

Am I the only one who feels that Tommy Edman's stellar post season has been vastly under appreciated?
Sure he deservedly won the NLCS MVP, but he was damn good in the WS too
