This is a very big article. It has an interesting take on the value of runningbacks, and that hitting on premium positions is of more value to the team due to the cap savings of rookie deals in round 1.
Simply put, even if you “hit” on a 1st round RB, the financial savings isn’t as good as hitting on a QB. So, a QB is more worth taking risk.

I keep saying we are tanking but not cause we want to. We have lost so many players and relying on the draft, UDFAs and cheap FAs to fill in good chunk of the roster is a recipe for a down year. We simply lack the talent to ultimately compete, but the good part out of it is we are clearing our credit card debt. We'll see what young players make themselves part of our core moving forward. Anyone that thinks we won't experience growing pains is kidding themselves. Hopefully I'm wrong but history isn't on our side.
Even though we should be "happy" winning the SB two years ago.
Us fans deserve better and this is quite frankly embarrassing and unacceptable. There's NO way you can rebuild the roster up in 2 years with late round picks and cheap vets.
Like many here, I was angry and pushed back when the scum-bag Mike Florio (sorry scum-bags … you don’t deserve that comparison) said early in the offseason that ‘the Rams are in a multi-year re-build’.
Unfortunately, I think the scum-bag was right.
