I really hope we don't start 1-4.

I like that we have 5 10AM PST games. I like getting them out the way.

12-5 I think you guys are overestimating the opposition and underestimating the Rams. It's not like these teams don't have their own problems.

Week 1 Seattle away: LOSS
Week 2 49ers home: WIN
Week 3 Bengals away: LOSS
Week 4 Colts away: WIN
Week 5 Eagles home: LOSS
Week 6 Cards home: WIN
Week 7 Steelers home: WIN
Week 8 Cowboys away: WIN
Week 9 Packers away: WIN
Week 10 Bye
Week 11 Seahawks home: WIN
Week 12 Cards away: WIN
Week 13 Browns home: WIN
Week 14 Ravens away: LOSS
Week 15 Commodes home: WIN
Week 16 Saints home: WIN
Week 17 Giants away: WIN
Week 18 49ers away: LOSS

Both Seahawks and 49ers will be leaning on their run game. I think the Rams have the pieces on defense to stop or slow them down forcing them to pass to win. I think the Rams split this season with those two teams. I think the Rams sweep the Cards. The Boys are the Boys every season and pose nothing the Rams haven't beaten in the past. Packers are a shell of a team. Saints could surprise but Carr won't solve all their problems.

This is why I think 12-5 is possible with 11-6 realistic if this team plays up to it's potential. That's why I've been saying success or lack thereof is on the coaches. If they coach them up and play them well, this team is sneaky good.

NFL Schedule Reveal: 2 NFC West Teams Face Unique Challenge In 2023

The 2023 NFL schedule was officially released last night, and it appears two NFC West franchises have drawn the short end of the stick.

As pointed out by Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper this Friday morning, the Rams and 49ers both face a unique challenge this upcoming season due to an interesting scheduling quirk.

Los Angeles and San Francisco are each set to play four teams coming off a bye in 2023. No other NFL team will play more than two such games.

It's generally considered a disadvantage to play a team coming off a bye, given the extra time they have to prepare for the matchup.

The fact that the 49ers and Rams each have to play four such contests - three if you don't include San Francisco's matchup against Jacksonville coming off their own bye - means they're two of the unluckiest teams to come out of schedule release day.

Expect the Rams and 49ers to be the lesser-rested team in several of their games this season.

No predictions right now from me. We don't know what we have in this team yet. It could all come together with something magical happening or it's a learning year. I am determined to enjoyed watching The Oline, DLine and Matthew Stafford spinning the ball.

Due to an "interesting scheduling quirk". Way to try and spin it. That's complete bullshit though... that's not a reason for fucking a team over with this completely unfair disadvantage. This must be a major No-No for the schedule makers and it is obvious here that they either completely overlooked it or just said fuck them on this. Calling it a "scheduling quirk" isn't a fucking reason... all that is is saying a few words that don't explain a GD thing.

This actually is a big fucking deal and I was shocked as a couldn't help but to notice this as the number kept rising as I watched the schedules being announced Thursday night. It was FUCKING SHOCKING to me. Playing against a team coming off of a Bye is a proven major disadvantage period. The asshat who is responsible for this absolute fuck-up or fuck-job needs to be fired.

There needs to be real concessions given to us or the schedule needs to be adjusted. This quirk that they're calling it needs to happen to 2 different teams every single fucking year in a league wide rotation otherwise. And guess you what..... the league will NEVER do that because it's completely unfair.

I still simply CANNOT believe that there isn't extreme outrage being voiced by the team and fans. Just calling it a quirk for a reason is absolute horse shit. This is a big fucking deal. I would demand action on this immediately. At least the quarterback-less team from the homeless shit streets was awarded this same fuck-job... but I still cannot believe that this is being allowed by the league decision makers.

Yeah, this is severe bullshit. This is a team that could make some noise with a little storybook luck. But with this schedule setup, an arrow is driven into the heart before it starts. I fear a little too much to overcome for this Ram's squad. At least we should see a pissed off team right out of the gates.

Division games I see 3-3

Niners are probably still too physical on D for our OL. Hopefully we make up some ground there. They sweep us yet again.

Split with Seattle. I think they’ll compete like us but won’t be much better than last year. Gino will get schemed up.

Sweep AZ. Their D will be awful.

At the very least, the Rams CANNOT start 0-2.
It is hard enough for teams who start 0-2 to make the playoffs, but losing both games within the division? It just can’t happen.
A successful season will be be put into immediate risk if the Rams don’t find a way to win one of those first two games vs division foes.
