I think McVay wanted to one-up Shanahan off the field. That means drafting a better Mr. Irrelevant than the Rat did.

Wolford looked overwhelmed when he played. Hard worker but, didn't perform in the games.

Bennett may have a similar size as Woldford yet could be a big improvement. He has big game experience and has some quick feet. He seems to go through his progressions. The NFL shouldn't be too BIG for him. He could quickly pick up the offense. The Georgia connection with Stafford is interesting. He may not be the future starter but, could be a solid backup.

Agree that Stetson looks worlds better than Woeful, but that's a very low bar.

The difference is significant. It used to be like this back when Kiper was the guy everyone at ESPN made fun of. Him just doing his thing on every pick.
