Re: Schraeg's list...

Pleasant has a real chance. Also the most important and dare I say complex part of being a DC today is mastering the back end and being able to keep a secondary playing fast while disguising things. So he's positioned for sure, all he's got to do is make sure that Lions' defense produces.

Brown probably won't get the OC role in LA when Coen leaves for a HC gig. But the good thing is he might be Coen's OC. It's a great opportunity for him, though, to be involved in what should be a top passing game in the NFL this year. Ain't nobody gonna hire a RB coach as OC in today's NFL so good on McVay moving a guy he respects to get more seasoning. And btw McVay did that with Shula too, which shows that maybe he's making an effort to promote more guys in-house when jobs come up.

Colts ST coach has a lot of buzz and all but it's really hard for those guys to get the HC jobs. Just look at the dude in KC. If I'm a teams coach who is well respected in the NFL have to say I'd use that clout to move to the offense or defense and keep building my knowledge of the game.

Yeah moving Brown will largely go unnoticed in a lot of circles but that move will get Brown eventually running his own team. And Pleasant is just universally loved by his former players hard to see him not getting moved up as well.

Gee... guess who got a mention on a pass breakup in the endzone today.

The kid, per Jourdan, is having a heck (HELL!) of a start to camp.

Also, Troy Hill with another interception in camp. If this keeps up, it sure looks like Cleveland were lost years and he hasn't really lost his ability to contribute and contribute at a higher-than-average level.

Put me in the camp that if we can strengthen the secondary from last year we won't feel the lack of heat from the pass rush as much.
