Anyone who hasn't watched the movie "Buffalo '66" please check it out. A guy goes to prison due to the Norwood missed field goal (Lost $10,000 on a bet to the Mob and takes a prison term for a crime he didn't commit to pay the debt) and when he gets out of prison he looks for Norwood to kill him.
