I really believe this is going to come back and bite them in the ass
I think they knew the Giants were going to take him and instead of adding that weapon to the rest of what Daniel Jones has they gave him to Philly which has Hurts and jack shit else. Him going to Philly is infinitely better for the Cowboys than if the Giants got him.

That's a nice thought.... Cowboys going with Slater playing him at LG until Smith finally falls apart.

Well with Lance as the Niners will start Jimmy G for at least the this year and perhaps the next. Lance is very raw and needs a lot of work. So IMO it will be 3 years before the Rams will face the QB Lance and know what kind of QB he will be.
I think it will be the second half of week 1. Which is about the time JG gets injured and goes out for the season.

Williams is good at LT they added Reiff who's an upgrade at RT. They need to solidify the middle of the line which you don't do with the #5 pick in a draft.
I'd much rather have Sewell if he's as good at tackle as projected. That Bengals O-line was garbage last year. Joe Burrow was outright abused last year, there's no denying that.

Parsons is a beast though no doubt.

Not denying it at all, just saying you add a true #1 and dominant WR and can still add some very good interior OL on day 2. The gap between Chase and the WR they get in the 2nd is so much larger than the gap between Sewell at LG and say Wyatt Davis in the 2nd. You add a great young Guard and the best player on your offense aside from Burrow with Chase. Chase and Davis >>>>> Sewell and Rondall Moore.

Parsons is...interesting. I don't think the Cowboys should've picked yet another linebacker that highly. Honestly, I'd go with an offensive lineman.

Still, I'm happy for Parsons; one of my friends knows the family personally, and he's apparently a very good and smart kid.

He's not a number 1 yet as he's a rookie. To me, Tee Higgins is their number 1 and proved it last year playing.

Won't matter if Bears end up with a legitimate QB.

It won't matter. It mattered at the moment that I said it though when the trade was made. Just thought it was quite a haul that's all. That said if he is everything they want course 3 1st rounders wouldn't matter after the fact of course.

I'm sure on paper he is but Chase is so much better than Higgins you can't honestly even try to compare them.

It's such a massive upgrade for them. Real nice pick. But they're gonna have years of Smith roasting their corners which will be fun.
