I'm ok with Akers and Jefferson. Just think they both could have been had in the third round, and we could also be sitting with Baun and Cush.

@Memento funny buddy looks like we can find out together as rams fans now that Jefferson will be playing for us. Weird how things workout. Have you got a chance to look at his video clips. Do you see any similarities at all or no? Route technician check and his speed is maybe underated and that wiggle of shaking defenders slithery smooth just see something maybe I'm to optimistic lol. They comparing him to Kupp which I can see also but seems way faster than Kupp no?

Yes. It looked like the '80s style Rams helmet.
 
I rarely comment on the draft , but this has been a head scratcher to me. Your left tackle is 60 years old and they haven’t had a stud LB in years , and you draft a RB and the 18th ranked WR.
Worst off season I can remember including the horrible years.
McVay and Snead are trending down. IMO

Definitely. Certainly they're more sold on LT being ok. Jones would have sat on the bench too and that is hard to commit to that when you want to restart the offensive engine.

And they can still supplement the OL. This thing ain't over yet.

They were last year too and we know how that worked out. Im not mad at the Jefferson pick, he looks like a good pro WR but so many OL prospects out there with more talent than what we have. My guess is there is a guy or guys we LOVE in rounds 3 or 4. The noteboom and allen range :palm:

Wow... I honestly hate our picks... Denzel Mims, Lloyd Cushenberry, Zack Baun on the board and we take dudes that we could have traded back and got anyway...

Here's the thing: we needed an outside receiver. Mims was right there. We needed an inside linebacker. Baun was right there. And you pick a slot receiver who probably won't be any better than Kupp is.

Still three centres of interest - Cush, Hennessy, Biadasz. Hopefully one will be available by our next pick.

WOW, I haven't seen this Mims kid before, excellent tape. Wonder why we took the cat we did over this guy??
 
Here's Van Jefferson's complete game from 2019 vs Virginia. He's got good size, he's smooth in and out of his breaks, plays smart, there's really not a lot to dislike. As to where he should have went, well, who fuckin knows but Goff is going to love him.
