Great tweet from Bucky Brooks. Respect his judgment. Seems to think we nailed it with Akers.
Yeah they're a good duo on paper. Akers brings that physicality and inside zone feel in his running ability. It's a little surprising though thought McVay would want the explosiveness. But I'm good with this the guy can eat carries for us plus more.

Haha. I saw that too.
I will check it out. I know you were teasing but, we are embarrassingly overspec’d. We do that, because we don’t fuck around here.
I would guess one of two things...
1. They think Whit has 2 years at least in him.
2. They really like some OT types further down.
Akers was 3rd overall prospect in the nation coming out of HS. Hope he thrives with us
