I maintain, there should be an option for your specific team games only.
Why?
I mean, most everyone gets 1-2 games per network (CBS, NBC & Fox) each Sunday for their local team, for basically free. Is there any other sport that offers that? NFL also is the only sport that also airs the majority of their playoffs on non cable networks, CBS, NBC, ABC & FOX.
The fact that NFL has a platform which allows a fan to see all of their favorite teams games is amazing, and now that it's on Youtube it doesnt even require any other network agreement, hardware or commitment in order to watch it's even more amazing.

If your not in the local market for the team, would be a nice option to ONLY pay for Rams games, who cares about the Chargers vs the Panthers....

Can you do that for other teams in other sports? Why would the NFL be any different?
So the NFL ticket costs $480 for the season. Would you pay $400 for just Rams games?

I'm glad a lot of people don't know about NFL+ because it might bog it down, but the premium has Redzone and NFL Network along with rewind options for all NFL games, (NFL App for smart TVs/Roku etc)............................but you didn't hear it from me.

If I was them I'd stream my own games at a low rate. eTicket for one game includes choice of multiple cameras (classic, birds eye, and coach film), and multiple sound feeds (home, away, crowd, english, spanish).

Guess it doesn't seem as bad to me. Thank to my wife, I have YouTube TV, Netflix, and Amazon Prime anyway.

And unless something's changed this year, I don't see the need for ESPN +

Yea it's always a ridiculous notion.

For one thing, if you live in a market that shows your team that cuts the 1k for YTTV and the ticket.

For a comparison, it's even MORE difficult for me to watch Cavs and Guardians games and I live in Ohio. Thankfully after the bankruptcy saga MLB just offered a deal where I can pay $100 one time and watch every Guardians game. But that is for a team where I live in that market...

For the Cavs, my only option was to either have cable or satellite or pay $20/month for the FanDuel sports app.

Cheaper, yes - but those were services that I did NOT already have. To catch every Rams game this year I would just need YTTV and then the ticket. But unlike NBA and MLB, for the NFL my favorite team is out of market so it makes sense.

I have Netflix and peacock and all that - but to people who want to complain about that cost, it is basic capitalism - don't watch on those streaming services and they won't pay the NFL for the right to show them.

Ultimately the only thing I will pay for for the NFL that I wasn't already is the Sunday ticket and I pay for that happily

Yes, you can get other sports seasons, that wasnt the question. Just a specific team? No you get the whole leagu. Just like the NFL

Yes MLB.TV has a team, only package.
I get the full MLB.TV but really I only watch the Dodgers, your 2024 World Series Champions.

Im lucky, they still show my son in College (he graduated last May) so I got the 25 ticket for $119, thats a steal.
