Went and saw STYX last night
who puts on a concert on a Thursday night , I mean really
another old band I can cross off my bucket list
were I live , we get two or three big time bands a year , who are a little past their prime
but it's great , over the years , I had alot of chances to see bands I never got to back in their prime
like last year , got to see Journey and REO Speedwagon , although , technically their little more then cover bands anymore , although STYX did still have three , mostly originally members ( Tommy Shaw ) was not actually an original member
was never a Dennis DeYoung fan, but STYX was never the same since he left
they all sounded all right last night , for the most part, the guy replacing Dennis DeYoung was kinda annoying
I've always liked STYX , not saying they were ever one of my favorite bands , but there are a ton of memory berries when it comes to STYX
My wife always had a big crush on Tommy Shaw , which was probably the main reason we went.................lol
their album Paradise Theatre was still a big hit when we were dating in High School
cruising Grand in my 1974 Pontiac LeMans with my best girl by my side listening to some Rockin In Paradise

So one of my new favorite things is people reacting to The Hu. I've linked more than one song of their in here and if you like rock n roll and haven't heard them you're doing yourself a disservice. You aren't going to know what they're singing unless you have subtitles on but tbh it doesn't matter. Any rock n roll fan is banging/bobbing their head to their songs. But the reactions to them with people listening to them for the first time are priceless.
