I love the dude and feel bad for him! He must be having his head down now where he's psyching himself out!

LETS GO LEGATRON!!

p.s. I have a feeling he get's it together in the second half.

No excuse for that. He put himself in the hot seat. Your paid NFL money for NFL play.

There is a reason that Hekker got the contract.

Hopefully this ends up as a very harmless way for him to get that one case of the yips in his career out of the way.

I'm glad we've got a couple more games this season to see what he's got. He's a guy who goes through the yips a fair amount and I'm not sure with all his benefits (he still has pretty decent numbers) that we shouldn't scrutinize him heavily the next few games. It could be the difference between drafting a kicker late next year or not...

I'd take a weaker leg if it meant a stronger head and more consistency.

Too many quality kickers on the open market and in college who, while they may not be able to kick a 60+ yard fg with perfect conditions or in a dome, don't miss chip shot field goals.

Zuerlein plays a position where if you do not perform, you lose your job in a flash. He has been inconsistent this year, and his play today was pretty shocking. Thank goodness they played a shitty team, and those 7 points didn't matter. If anything, I hope the Rams bring in a vet to practice this week to put some fire under his seat.

I guess the only bad thing about him, is that he is very streaky kicker. At times he is the best kicker in the NFL, and then he has a game like this. Oh well, let's get his confidence back.

Too early for the angry mob.... But he certainly is not a proven asset, not yet.

This isn't his first sign of mental weakness. He was 6-for-11 in his final six games in 2012 also. His leg is one of the best we've ever seen, but his focus leaves a lot to be desired. If he has another game like this in '14... he could be in trouble.

I guess give it more time and see if he corrects it. Hopefully he does, but he's no Wilky IMO.

Year one, he was automatic. Since then, not so much. I am rooting for him, but if he doesn't figure it out soon; the kicker in training camp next year won't just be a camp leg. He will get some legitimate competition for his spot.

"St. Louis K Greg Zuerlein missed an extra point, a 28-yard chip shot and a 38-yard attempt -- all wide right -- before sneaking one just inside the upright from 34. After the game in the locker room, coach Jeff Fisher turned Zuerlein's day into a light-hearted moment by having holder Johnny Hekker put the ball down and Zuerlein kick it into a locker in front of the team. "Anytime you have a day like this, it's never easy to show your face around everyone," Zuerlein said. "But coach Fisher is awesome."
Yep, that was awesome.

I love me some Greg Z he's won plenty for us but it might be time to bring in someone for the weekend to put a bit of a foot in the butt. He certainly isn't Adam Vinateri but I'll take him over others... my only complaint today.
