I don't know how I got on this thread, but I think it's interesting that Aaron Donald was once projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd round. Ridiculous.

Yea until Donald blew up the combine and proved unblockable at the senior bowl.

By draft day he was a first round lock and some teams talked about him going as early as 13 to the Rams.

And in retrospect, he probably should have gone first overall. He is what they hoped Clowney would be.

He wasn't. First-pick.com might have been asleep at the wheel - but he had a first round draft grade on every teams board - no question.

The Rams were legitimately surprised he was still there at 13 (as was I)

I mean, this was in January, and he was projected somewhere around there at one point. This was before combine and senior bowl and all that.
