Guess it depends on who's rankings but you figure McMillan and Burden likely gone. Egbuka, Golden, Harris and Ayomanor are the other 4 I'd love to have.
I'm really holding out hope because I've seen Burden dropping in mock drafts.

Possibly but it will be fun to see who drops. There are probably 6 or 7 WR I'd take at 26 though a few will be gone before us.
Damn, 6 or 7 at #26? I'm not sure I'm on board with that. Tet, Burden, Egbuka, Golden .... and I'm starting to like Harris, but more in a trade down.

Even his biggest fan ever, Memento, said he took plays off. That's not a good assessment coming from a fan. That indicates attitude/character issues.

You might want to check who said what about whom. I never said he took plays off: I said he had diva-ish characteristics. Attitude concerns? Certainly, but he reminds me of OBJ in that regard; even at his most diva-ish, LB3 was always 100% for the team and never threw anyone - not coaches, not players, not even opponents - under the bus during his time at Mizzou and played hurt all year this year.

If we're doing criticisms, Ja'Marr Chase quit playing his entire junior year, so that he wouldn't get injured. You'd still take him on the Rams, wouldn't you?

I'd still take him on this team, and if he fell out of the first round and we took him, I'd be ecstatic.

Sorry, I used the wrong word...but I think it means the same thing.

Burden loafed when the ball wasn't going towards him this year.
This is what you said in this post. https://ramsondemand.com/threads/jrry32s-first-mock-offseason-of-2025.72399/page-2#post-1898292

IMO, loafing when the ball isn't going towards you is an attitude/character concern. I don't see that flying on the Rams. I know you would be ecstatic if he fell to us, I'm just not convinced McSnead would want him.

There are legit reasons DJ didn't have him in his 1st round mock. And there are legit whispers of attitude issues.

But I'm not saying that these attitude/character concerns are so high that the Rams shouldn't draft him. It just needs to be acknowledged that they exist and they need to be weighed. I trust McSnead to do that if he did happen to fall to our pick.

Yeah I'm starting to think more trade down as the days to by.

Fair, but you have to realize that he was playing hurt the entire year (got injured in the second game). He did not loaf on plays the prior year. Hence why I don't think he has laziness concerns. Could you say that he's a diva? Absolutely, but he's never hurt the team he's on, and even played hurt. Hence why I'd put him in the OBJ category of diva: someone who cares about his personal stats and stirs shit up on the field with his passion, but doesn't throw the team he's on or his teammates or coaches under the bus.

So when the question is what will they do with the first round pick, is that referring to the Rams pick #26 or the Steelers pick at #21?
Hahahaha

Sign me up 4.4 speed with a great build and can play the X or in the slot and has a good route tree.

Ayomanor is a guy I believe I've flagged before here. I think he checks all our boxes. Bigger guy with a thick build (6'1"/6'2" 210), physical blocker, high IQ player (only a RS Sophomore, but already shows a lot of savvy in his releases and routes), can get vertical (due more to great acceleration than elite top-end speed), has some YAC skills (though, he's not Puka Nacua or Cooper Kupp), and can win contested catches (but he's not an elite player in this respect). One of the things that stood out to me watching him are how loose and fluid his hips are for a guy his size.

I don't see him becoming an elite WR, but I think he can be a productive #2 WR who fits our offense well. The one big problem I saw with his film this year was concentration drops. Ayomanor isn't elite in any one area. Rather, he does a lot of things well. I think the football IQ, work ethic, and athletic talent are there for him to become a route technician. I've compared him to Pierre Garcon.

These are the highlights from his game last year against Colorado (as a Freshman RS) when he had over 290 yards in the second half:
