It occurred to me when getting a view from the nosebleed seats of Levi Stadium, looking at the "ants" playing on the field, Why would I pay for a poor viewing experience? Sure, there was a massive HDTV across the way, but again..Why would I suffer traffic, pay for parking, pay high prices for food/drink, pay for seats far from the action, and then end up watching the game on a big screen tv anyway?
My HDTV at home has spoiled me, of course.....I know that staying at home, prevents me from experiencing the electricity of the crowd when big plays happen..I'm missing the tailgate and X's grilled brauts and beer....
I just wonder...The game experience at home is superior for the common fan, why would most people go sit in the stadium? Does this bode well for the building massive stadiums in the future?
