And we've done what since Bradford became our QB? 4 consecutive losing seasons with a competitive defense but no offense?

You are right......it's all Bradford's fault. Damn Bradford.

Why doesn't he understand he needs to block for himself better? Give himself more time to complete his passes.
And while he's at it, there is no reason whatsoever why he can't block for himself, run back in the backfield throw a pass then run a route and catch it too.
Damn him.......and he also needs to figure out which offense to run stick with it and stop changing it. While he's at it, he could be a bit more imaginative in his play calling too.

Don't let him off the hook for all those passes from himself he's dropped.

So our OL, WR's, Head Coach, OC... well shit.... It's everyone's fault besides Bradford.

It's all clear to me, I got it now.

These media types that feel you need a running QB to win in the NFC west tend to forget that the Cardinals won 10 games with Carson Palmer, who last I checked was as slow as Yadier Molina.

Sam, our franchise QB gets injured every other year. It doesn't get easier as you get older. The same critics who worry about Manziel's injury future, disregard Bradford's injury past. The past predicts the future. If Bradford get injured again next year, or underperforms in 2014 than we will have to cut Sam because Bradford's trade value will drop like a giant extinction meteor thru the Earth's crust! And we will suffer yet another Nuclear Winter. Gutsy call? Trade Bradford now!
Gotta disagree with ya there R&E.... past don't predict nada. :)

No it's not. Bradford needs to play better as well.
But the point is, he hasn't exactly been set up to succeed here.
And that's about as big of an understatement as saying that GoodHELL is just a slightly below average commissioner.

Not exactly clean on the injury front either... :sneaky:

The thing I'm struggling with the most about all this is that we are so close with Bradford and the way things are at the moment. It just doesn't feel like the right time to blow this up.

Year 3 was always going to be the point at which they were held fully accountable for the state of the team. I can't see a scenario where they make such a boom-or-bust call as this. I don't think Snisher are desperate- or stupid- enough to effectively gamble on their futures here.

And... That's where common sense sets in.

Me personally; after the draft we hear nothing but chuckles about the JM rumor.

Exactly. AZ is the team in the NFCW that needs to be looking at QB very closely in this draft.

Palmer went for over 63%, threw for almost 4300 yards, and while he did throw too many INT's that slowed in the second half of the year and he is the best passing QB in the division. The Cards are not in need of a QB and if they drafted one in the first couple of rounds I'd laugh.

Which means I hope they do LOL.

I don't think that SK will be calling these guys into his office after this year barring a major implosion and Fisher losing the locker room ala Spagnuolo. Fisher will have his entire 5 year contract to put this back together, I'd bet money on that.

Drafting Johnny Football and punting the starting QB could be the thing that makes them lose the locker room. As I said, it's too much of a gamble.

See my post in the video reaction thread.

Thsi team is not drafting Manziel IMO. No way.

He's 34 yrs old. His skills are primed to fall off a cliff at any time. Grabbing a QB in the 2nd rd is what i was referring too, unless one of the top 3 slide to them at #20.

Sam is very popular amongst the leadership of this team. Guys like Chris Long and James Laurinaitis wont tolerate egos or prima donna attitudes.. Johnny Manziel is many things... exciting, electric, fast, big arm, high ceiling, risk taker, small, mechanically flawed, has much to learn, arrogant, has bad habits, questionable character, injury concerns and has loads of bust potential. JMBO (Just My Biased Opinion)

Rams can almost guarantee themselves a slot in Hard Knocks if they draft Johnny Football
