Didn't a woman in L.A. snatch up LA Rams.com as soon as she heard they were moving? I can picture her fervor as she had an epiphany and didn't want anyone to beat her to it. She probably thought she hit the lottery. Then the letdown when they wouldn't pay up. For shame.

I would guess that LA Rams is the more desirable domain name. And I understand this guy having a high asking price. Korea's is loaded, after all. But, a million dollars is way overboard. Consider what the Rams gain from it. They don't get rich off their team site, and it is easy enough to find them with a search engine lot me Bing or Google. Having the perfect domain name is not critical.

I am curious about a the international company and their interest in the name, that makes it worth six figures. Seems fishy to me. Are they convinced they can get the million from the Rams?

If those two were smart they would turn them into really offensive porn sites and advertise the hell out of them.

I bet the Rams would pay good money to not be associated with that.

I would have asked for season tickets round the 50. Cough 'em up and you got your domain name.

the irony is someone bought that domain name to collect some money if they ever moved back and then when they did, that person did not get one red cent as the team just changed it up.

Just one more example of why trickle down economics doesn't work. :censored:

lol. c'mon.

They bought the domain stlouisrams.com.
There are multiple teams that don't own the domain of the mascot name of their team.
Like @Zodi already pointed out.

Nah, it was dumb not to get rams/larams/losangelesrams domains locked up.

Someone dropped the ball.

I like this one after he tried to take himself and his entire cabinet out after it was discovered he & Ollie were involved in the cocaine, contra, Iran & arms affair.

Why would they lock that up if they were in St Louis though?

They knew they were moving when SK bought the team, we know that now despite what he said and the lies he told when the team was in STL.

Why not spend the 50 bucks?

Does it really matter?

My point was, despite your claims, it doesn't make them a shitty Organization for not naming their website the way you wanted them to. Why didn't all of those other teams grab similar domains? Do they all have shitty owners too? And honestly, does it encroach upon your quality of life that the word "the" is in the URL?

You can purchase larams.biz from goDaddy for like, $11. It's worth a shot.

My wife said I'm not allowed to make a porn sure and blackmail the team, otherwise I'd be doing it.

It was my dream to run a porn production company with the hottest chicks in the biz.....when I was 18 and single. Now that I am married with kids, my priorities reach further than having a business that makes me rich while guaranteeing daily sex with as many gorgeous girls as I choose.

But even if it was a share site, if it led to a payoff from an NFL team in the low six figure range it would be worth the effort.

There was one incident like this involving UPS many years ago. They wanted to go with the website name bigbrown.com well it turns out a guy that looks like big fatso from that cinematic masterpiece Barbwire was sitting on the name.
