There are about 5 players that are well worth the number 1 pick...so at least 4 players are worthy of number 2.
Saying there are only 2 players worthy of being taken 1 and 2 is being very tunnel visioned and setting yourself up to fail.
No, it's being honest. If we have the #2 pick, coming away with anything other than one of the top 2 players on your board is failure. And I've already expressed how my board falls.
It's your opinion that there are four players worthy. My list has a clearly defined #1 and #2 at this stage. Beyond that, there are 4 players that are clumped together for me which is why I am not too picky when it comes to who we pick with a trade down.
This cliche notion that you take the BPA no matter what is a fallacy. Not to mention how many times we here this "best player in a decade" talk when said player ends up being just as good as other players in the class at other positions (sometimes the SAME position).
I don't use BPA. I use BVA. It takes into account need and positional value on top of the pure talent method of the BPA.
No...there are more options than J.Clowney at # 2.
That's certainly your opinion but for me, it's either Clowney or trade down at #2.
