Cincy recently lost one of their starting offensive tackles - La’el Collins. Whitworth’s name has been mentioned as a replacement. I could be wrong but isn’t Whit still under contract with the Rams through the end of this season.

His body isn't the same. He has slimmed WAY down and I don't know if he has enough junk in the trunk to anchor it down, anymore.

Well, if that's all it takes, I'm your man!

On a serious note (my trunk is just fine ... thank you), Whitworth's last re-structure had voidable years. He's on the Rams' cap both this season and next year. I would guess, the Rams could ask for some form of compensation should Whitworth want to try it.

That being said, I would be surprised if Whitworth would pursue returning; and, if he did, I doubt the Rams would seek compensation. However, if they did, I'm thinking Jamar Chase and Logan Wilson.

He is under contract with the Rams... however I'm sure they would work something out to let him go play.

He looks to me like he is too thin now to play however.

Hard for me to see that happening.

I wouldn’t mind watching him in a playoff run. Would be cool to see him get two rings.

Just don’t tell my Chiefs fan wife.

Start chuggin the protein big guy!

I would think if he entertained the idea of coming back he woulda done it when we had so many linemen go down earlier in the season.

If Whit is game, I could see Snead clearing up any contractual obstacles for a couple 6th round picks.

I believe Dallas reached out out to Big Whit earlier this year as well

I remember someone asked him before the raiders game if he was going to play again and he said no and sounded very sure about it

If he wanted to play this year, we certainly had a place for him.

I'd be shocked if Snead didn't reach out to him earlier this season, once Noteboom went down.

Although, joining a team for the playoffs may be tempting.

No reason to hold anyone accountable.Filtering is a good thing.
We can all believe what we want.

I see a poster saying Snead could get a couple of 6th rd picks? DonThe Rams have the rights to Big Whit ?
He cost The Rams a Comp pick from his HOF time as a Ram.

What I know is Mcvay(Havenstien) are tight with Big Whit. The Rams are an organization that treats there Players with LOVE
