Since they can't BOTH lose, I'll pull for 9ers as much as that pains me greatly.

Why? Even though they have the heads-up tiebreaker having beaten us, we get them one more time to even it out, and are a game up in the standings as well. I say bring the Seadogs back to the pack at this "halfway point". Then (figuring a split with all our NFCW rivals) we're right in the hunt for a division title and it comes down to our Fins/Cheatriots/Jets/Bucs results. I'd take our chances on 3-1 there, giving us 11-5 finish.

A tie would be ideal, but isn't a reasonably likely outcome.

Ask me again after the Miami game.

If we beat the Dolphins - and arguably we should - I'd rather Seattle lose. That puts the Rams right up there with the Seahawks for tops in the division. I think we'd come out on top, as we generally win our head to head games vs. Seattle. With no fans due to covid-19, I don't see that changing, as the Seahawks best chance would likely be to ride their home crowd to a win.

Conversely, the 49s seem to have our number recently. But they are so injured that, even if the Rams don't beat them, they should still lose a number of games over the 2nd half of the season. I don't see them as a divisional contender.

There are pro's and con's to both scenario's as long as the Rams take care of business. I don't let blind fan hate get in the way of mathematics when looking at these games.

A SF win puts AZ in first place and in the drivers seat with 2 division wins in hand vs SF and SEA. That's not good.

A SEA win evens things out a bit between SEA, AZ and us and sets the Niners back to .500 ball and 2 division losses. I'd like to see them go away. Geezus that was a dick punch division loss.

I think Seattle wins, but I would like Seattle to loose. I still can't take AZ seriously so not worried if they momentarily lead the division. Looks like I was wrong predicting they wouldn't win more than 6 games, but not many more.

Remaining schedule for both teams.

It looks like the Whiners have the tougher schedule through the second half of the season.
A Seacocks loss this week, may be the best scenario after all.

I'm trying to look at this objectively and weigh the pros and cons as to which outcome benefits the Rams more. Do I want the 49ers to win or the Seahawks to win? I keep coming up with the same answer.
OH HELL NO!!!

I think in the short term, a Whiner win makes the Rams reaching first place more achievable in the short term.

But I don't like the idea of the 49ers hanging close by. Their defense is proven to give the Rams trouble and so far, their offense has too.

So I'd be up for the long game. Seattle wins and pushes the Whiners down another game. We can catch Sheattle with two wins head to head.
