Man, if Concepcion could clean up some of those drop issues, I have trouble believing McVay wouldn't be bricked up at the thought of adding him. He provides us with the speed we so lack, is a good route runner, willing blocker, and dynamic returner.

Almost fully in the camp of trading back no matter what and see how the cards fall. Would be plenty happy with either Cooper or Concepcion. Hell, given enough draft compensation for going back, I could certainly be happy with Boston also.

My fav receiver in the draft... one hopes that the drops are a concentration issue as he's shown the ability to make difficult catches

The reason McVay will love Concepcion is because separation is something you can't teach. He separates. Also he's instinctive with the ball in space. Drawback is the boy needs time on the juggs machine.

Sure that doesn't mean he's always fighting over the syrup at 2am?

This guy looks pretty good and may be gone early in the 3rd round. The vids are of course, just highlights, and I haven't found much info regarding his blocking capabilities ........ so let's get on with this draft already.
We've had enough FUN with this pre-draft crap already.

0r the football in the endzone: Sarratt has more touchdowns than any other receiver in this class, and that was for the National Champions, and he did it in less full games than Cooper (who is second in receiving touchdowns in this class to his teammate).
Piss on 503 !!!

I'd added Z.Thomas and Burks myself. Very intriguing guys. Thomas was very underutilized.

Branch has actually grown on me a bit. Really disliked him when he left USC, but, having gotten past that, he is very interesting. He is not Tutu as he's almost 180lbs, which for a shorter WR is not awful. I think he will be useful in an NFL offense, but I seriously doubt it will be ours.

Unlike Tutu with a dude like Branch you can have him contribute on teams by doing returns. But I think he'll go off the board too high for the Rams. And Tutu's failure I think will piss in that well as it pertains to smaller framed wideouts. Rams are very unlikely to be in play for any of the small ones.

This offense needs redzone potency more than anything else. And OL depth to handle the pending FA of 4/5 of the line. So if they go wideout it'll be someone bigger of frame I'd say, as that favors the QB they're trying to win another title with. And as to OL they need all three types. Shelton's a pending FA as well as a liability vs loaded fronts, so I'd say C is very high on that list. But OG may be as well. And OT could be the highest need on the team given that as things stand right now an injury to either OT means our offense will permanently have a TE helping on the edge.

I actually think Zavion Thomas might be better served moving to HB in the NFL (and also playing as a return specialist). If he's willing to pass protect, think he could carve out a solid career as a change of pace runner, third down HB, and return specialist.

It sounds like a minor item. But still, I want nothing to do with some moron who is out late and (likely partying) all a few days before the draft. That kind of stupid is not what I want to invest in and be on my team.

And if he has trouble with authority, will he be difficult to coach? Will he respect the coaches?
That might sound old-school, but who knows.
The actual "criminality" of the behavior isn't a thing, really. But the situation is stupid. Right before the draft? Duh

Agreed that it makes me think he's gotta be stupid to risk something negative before the draft. That said if he falls and is in a spot where he's a big value then take him. I don't care if we whiff on a late pick if he brings talent in we wouldn't normally get there.
