It’s all about opinions and the only one’s that count are McVay and Snead. I just hope they can approach this QB decision with a little more grace than we have so far mustered in this thread
Simpson is a top 40 prospect on every board I have seen so perhaps not a third round pick
He has many more strengths than weaknesses
He outplayed most if not all the QBs coming out next year
The consensus, when you take the time to watch and read film breakdown by experts, is that McVay will love this kid. I have previously reported what I have seen and heard. Not one expert was anywhere near as negative as posters on this board
If we want him then we should keep an eye on the 1. Cardinals, 2. Steelers and possibly 3. Miami. Don’t rule out 4. the Eagles.
I feel sorry for Simpson if he becomes a Jet or Brown. I don’t see it but wouldn’t rule it out
My guess is he goes to a good not bad team and their GM and head coach look like a geniuses two years from now. I would include the Cardinals in that who are better than last years record
We are 3rd favourite and short odds at that
We dive into the betting market around Ty Simpson, considered a fringe first-round pick by many
