Elway: Salary cap / deferred payment issues in 1997-98.
He was reportedly paid illegally (deferred payments, lower salary cap hits) and the donkeys were heavily fined.

Young: Throughout his playing career he paid ball boys $20 each to warm up footballs on game day during cold weather games. He admitted it a few years ago but wasn't fined.

Other whiner admissions were Jerry Rice saying he used illegal stickum on his hands during games and Montana said that his OL sprayed silicon on their jerseys so they'd be too slippery for defenders to get a grip on them.

The Rams are reportedly one of the least cheating teams in the league. (or they were never caught lol). Murdering one's husband and ticket scalping didn't give the team a clear advantage nor effect other teams.

My dislike for Brady probably comes from jealousy as much as anything if I were to be totally honest. Good looking. Hot wife. Rich. Plays football. Who wouldn’t trade with him?

Yeah, he’s cocky. But he wouldn’t be a fierce competitor if not. But, he’s not exactly a dick. He’s not a look-at-me player. He seems to be decent/good off the field.

So... interesting topic @Juggs. I think my dislike for the Patriots is mostly the team, Belichick, and the suspicion that clouds this team’s ethics on game day. Brady I’ve come to respect a little.

I know it sounds tinfoil hat ,but when Brady retires, I think we start hearing Andrew Luck to Pats heating up hard. It a total Beli move.

I think I speak for almost everyone here when I say we dislike Wilson more than Brady. I wish I really didn't feel this way but I would like to see bad things happen to him. I worry that this creates bad karma.

Report: Tom Brady would need ‘radical course change’ to remain with Patriots

Talk of Tom Brady finishing his career with a team other than the New England Patriots is nothing new. Bill Belichick obviously thought it was a possibility when he drafted Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round back in 2014, and Brady has led the Patriots to three more Super Bowl victories since then. We have heard talk at various points over the past two or three years that Brady’s days in Foxboro could be numbered, and the result has always been the same.

But could this offseason be different?

Tom E. Curran of NBC Sports Boston, who is one of the most-plugged in reporters with all things Patriots, believes Brady and the team are headed for a divorce barring a “radical course change” over the next three months. Brady is set to become a free agent this winter for the first time in his Hall of Fame career, and there’s a reason he had the Patriots agree to not use the franchise tag on him when he negotiated his latest raise.

The Patriots are winning this season because they have an elite defense. While Brady is still better than most of the quarterbacks in the NFL, he’s no longer good enough to make a cast of patchwork receivers look like Pro Bowlers. It would be insane to expect any 42-year-old quarterback to be able to do that, so what if Belichick simply feels he doesn’t need Brady anymore to compete at a high level?

There’s a wide-ranging belief that Patriots owner Robert Kraft would never let Brady leave even if that’s what Belichick wanted. However, that may no longer be the case. Belichick has indicated that he has no plans to give up coaching anytime soon, and his 32-year-old son Steve has taken on a significant role on Bill’s staff this year. That has likely made coming to work even more enjoyable for the elder Belichick. With that in mind, what if Belichick sits down with Kraft and tells him, “it’s either me or him?”

It would not be farfetched to envision a scenario where Kraft chooses the coach over the quarterback. Brady has repeatedly said he wants to play until he’s 45, which would be three more seasons. Belichick, on the other hand, could easily coach well into his 70s. Assuming good health, there’s no reason he can’t stick around in New England for another decade. Would you rather have 10 more years of Belichick or three more years of Brady? That may be a question Kraft has to answer this offseason.

Brady’s father, Tom Sr., said this week that his son wants to keep playing but it will be “Bill’s decision” if he does so in New England. Brady has basically been open about the fact that he is not enjoying himself this season despite playing for one of the best teams in the NFL, which is a change from his usual approach of prioritizing winning above all else.

If the Patriots want to keep Brady, they may have to sign him to a multi-year extension. They may ultimately do that, but we can guarantee Belichick would rather not. The question will come down to how Brady is willing to compromise, and that question will be answered sooner rather than later. Should he decide he wants a change of scenery, well, we all know how Joe Montana’s career ended. It could happen.

Without hesitation, he responded, he’s a cheater. Can’t tell him any different.

For me, looking at it as a fan of the NFL and not just the Rams, I’m going to remember him as nothing but a passionate player, someone who always showed tremendous respect to those deserving and who said and did the right things off the field. Do I think he’s the best ever? No. But do I think he’s one of the best ever? Damn right and I’m glad I got to see it.

Always showed respect? He walked (actually ran) off the field without shaking Nick Fole's hand after the SB loss to Eagles.

You don’t speak for me. I like Wilson and wish he was a Ram. He’s a likable person and good sportsman from all of my recollections. He’s not a braggart like Brady. He’s not a dick like Rodgers.

I expect him to kill himself someday. That's terrible to say but I don't think that the world can provide him enough attention to make him happy in life.

Life after football will be rough for him. He’s had it so good for so long. Maybe a little morbid, but you’re probably right.
 
Brady and Belichick will both go down - in my opinion - as the biggest cheats the NFL have ever seen.
 
Not sure how I'll look at it...but he still had to throw the ball to win. This I do know...the NFL destroy obvious "taped proof" that they cheated to beat the Rams. Brady will never admit it though.

I think he's an incredibly overhyped QB that won SBs based on the foot of his kicker or the other team being a dumbass.

vs Rams - off foot of kicker

vs. Panthers - off foot of kicker

vs. Eagles - Donvon McNabb being sick

vs. shitbirds - team dumbass

vs. Falcons - ultimate team dumbass...I'll also dumbass the Jaguars for basically playing scared that whole game on offense.

vs. Rams - .....well, I'll blame the Chiefs for being a dumbass when jumping offsides in the AFC title game.

Peyton Manning is the better pure QB.
