There was a lot to like in the Monday nite victory but it’s never to early to criticize so what’s the deal?
What’s going on with Goff, he missed a wide open check down(again!) and had several other opportunities for big plays that didn’t connect during the mad Mike Martz portion of the game when we were throwing seemingly every down. Then when it was obvious the bears offense couldn’t score there were several passes put in harms way, why?
Jalen Ramsey is a bad dude but seems like he’s doing his best Marcus Peters impression. If Foles has half a second more he has 2 very long completions maybe tds.

Sam. (Sigh) maybe they want a return rather than a touchback, maybe it’s part of the plan and maybe that block wasn’t his fault. Or maybe we’ve spent to much time thinking about kickers.

whoever the hell is calling plays, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one yelling at my tv for them to run the ball, I don’t get it. If you want to take a shot and maybe catch the bears napping ok, but they know their offense is putrid and the best chance they have is to separate Goff from the ball and his senses.
Where’s Cam? Maybe he’s still hurt, but if so why dress him? What’s the use having a 3 headed attack if you’re not gonna use it.
The bears offense is bad, unlike everyone in the west, the rams could’ve scored more and will probably need to when they play division games.

Ummm they had 33 pass and 34 rush attempts.

The PA and jet sweep game was working.

The Bears D is really good, and unless you wanted them to see them run up the gut into Aikeem Hicks and Khalil Mack over and over again,
(Like the last couple possessions, but all game) the gamelan was perfect.

No one in our division has the Bears defense. And the Rams played extremely well on offense in the second half until McVay went into ultra conservative mode with a 24 3 lead. It seems like it takes them a half to get going.

San Francisco has the closest to the Bears defense but they have too many players hurt and the Rams should have run rough shod over them. That was just a bad game from start to finish.

Both Arizona and Seattle have terrible defenses so both will probably be a high scoring affairs unless the Rams come fired up like they did today.

Plus they will have Robinson and Fuller back and possibly Lewis becoming the prime OLB in those games.

Not wanting to be cynical here but analytical, what is up with Goff? The last two games there have been some very puzzling throws, everything from throwing to phantom receivers to overthrows of open receivers down field. It's got me wondering if it's mental or physical. There are times when his mechanics are a bit iffy and it crossed my mind last night that it may be from compensating for an injury or other physical issue. Thoughts? (I'm not trashing the young man. I really like that he's wearing the curly horns.)

Goff was off early but settled down after we got him rolling out the pocket. I think need to get him some solid completions early in games to get him into a rhythm.

On the check down to Brown, it looked to me that brown stopped and Goff expected him to continue running. Dont know who was wrong, but I don't think it was accuracy.

Thats the site, somebody here said he changed his name from Champ not sure what the new one is. And honestly can't stand that site and don't really want to venture into that cesspool. I think the Vent threads here are usually more positive than that place.

Goff had a great game last night, not sure what people are criticizing. Bears pass rush is no joke, and they have been making QB's look silly all season.
How does Goff compare to the rest?
Comp % GameComp % SeasonQB Rate GameQB Rate SeasonTDINT
Matt Stafford57.162.3-5.277.294.4-17.211
Matt Ryan5066.4-16.467.798.8-31.111
Philip Rivers55.169.7-14.686.993-6.110
Tom Brady6165.7-4.786.7102.7-1610
Teddy Bridgewater55.272.2-1750.499.1-48.702
Average55.6867.26-11.5873.7897.6-23.820.80.8
Jared Goff69.767.72108102.45.620

So this pretty impressive list of QB's saw their comp % drop by over 11% (While Goff improved his) and passer rating drop by almost 24 points (While Goff also improved his) and somehow people want to nitpick his performance?
Wow

also, some of the downfield overthrows look like throwaways to me....guys not open, pressure coming...air mail it...live to play another down.
Some definitely were...this game and the whiner game

Sweet spreadsheet!

I came away thinking maybe 4-5 more runs...some of Hendo’s runs were stellar...no complaints, though.

Great balance

Bears O was owned.
