Rams Game...

In 3 out of 4 of the Rams losses this yr the opposing team ran the ball over 30 times.

So no matter how painful it might be to watch....this is the week to try and pound the rock. You have to try and win the time of possession battle against the Rams to keep that offense off of the field. Their weakness on defense is up the middle...Brockers isn't that 330lb anchoring type of NT...he is 300lbs and quickness is more his game.

Both ILBers are actually undersized for the 3-4, but they have speed and play making ability. We just have to run right at them. When we do throw the ball we need to get it out fast because their pass rush comes from everywhere. Time for the OL to play their best game of the year.

The defense just needs to keep doing what they are doing...I'm fine giving up 80 yd time consuming drives that end in FGs. We just can't give up the quick score.

Time for someone on the team to make a BIG play as well....we haven't had one of those in forever.

TitanUP!!!!
------------
You sound just like our coaches.

We need to throw the ball so we can score more than 20 this week. Once we get a lead then we can run the clock out...
-----------
We will have to score a TD every drive we get the ball because they will when they have it. It's going to get ugly and quick folks.
-----------
This will be the game where defense plays lights out and our offense lets us down.

What's weird is that I have a really strong feeling we win this game.
----------
What'd you eat for breakfast? Its probably just gas youre feeling.
-----------
This will be the game where the offense plays so, so and our defense lets us down.

What's weird is that I have a really strong feeling we LOSE this game.
------------
They also heavily rely on the run, which we are actually great at defensively. Should be an interesting matchup.
-----------
Yes they do...they actually have more run attempts than we do this year which is a stat that I think will surprise most people.
-----------
gurley is a beast, we cant expect to completely shut him down but we may fare better than most teams
------------
Gurley catching balls out of the backfield is what scares me most. I think you have to put a spy on him every play...He averages over 22 touches a game...make someone else beat you...just don't give Gurley the home run play....in all but 3 games this yr he has either a run/catch for over 20 yds...those 3 games were the Seahawks 1st time loss, Vikings loss, and against the Jags close win.

Make someone other than Gurley beat you.
-----------
I'm sure McVay will have no problem picking apart our 24/7 Blitz fest.
-----------
Losing 2 winnable games on the road 2 weeks in a row has put so much pressure on us to win this game.

This game was the game we were able to afford to lose, but now the pressure is completely on us.

I can only dream for a Titans win and then rolling over to the Jags at 49ers game.

This is will a very telling week for us.
------------
I’m all in this weekend. Rams coming off a huge game, long plane ride, must win for titans, this has trap game written all over it .Titans change things up and open the offense. Delusional I know but I’m sticking with it.
-----------
This game is not a must win game. We can afford to lose it. The Jags game is the one we must have. We get in over the Bills at 9-7 if we beat the Jags...the Bills get in if our 9th win is against the Rams.
-----------
Titans can clinch a playoff berth Sunday by beating #Rams, if Ravens & Bills both lose. There's also a slim chance Titans win out & miss the playoffs, if BAL & BUF also win out, based on 3-way tiebreakers (correcting my earlier report). Head-to-head win over Ravens won't matter.

Titans are 5-1 at home, but the Rams are 7-1 away from LA-- with that lone loss coming against the Vikings, of course.

We can’t be 7-1 on the road with 1 road game to play.
All teams only get 8 road games per year in the regular season.

We can’t even be 7-1 on the road now.
We only have 8 road games and next Sunday is our last.
We have to be 6-1 on the road now.
Yep, I got ahead of myself. Sorry for misspeaking before this weekend.

Funny to see the fan comments....boring football and so on

Mariota, Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray are your best players on offense and the FANS want them to be "creative"?

Code for sling it all over the field?

How did the Rams slay the old division champs?

They ran the football right up their ass! 200+ yards rushing.

And, played defense.

In other words, boring football.

Count me in...
It's hard to be boring when you're winning 42-7. Tennessee is doing a whole lot of nothing, which is boring

Brockers is only 300lbs? Better check that. Last time I looked he's listed at 335. Maybe not player at that now, he's closer to 320, and one of the better NT's in the league.

If it snowing in this game, I'll take Gurley and the Rams OL in a running game shootout.

Long story short...I'm a little stressed about this game.

Yeah... for some reason, my patented Gut-O-Meter is on "slightly nervous".

I actually felt good going into last week... nowhere near as good as it ended up but good.

This week? Not as good.

Rams site lists him at 302.

A greybeard guy wearing an old Steve McNair jersey is seen in the stands, cheering on the Titans like a former coach would....

The Titans fans are ticked off after their latest loss to the 49ers. At 8-6 they have no margin for error but must win out in order to get a sniff at the playoffs. The Rams will be facing a desperate team that has lost two in a row and is 5-1 in their house. They've beaten the Jaguars and Seahawks so this team is no push0ver.
I'm Glad you brought this^ up Prime, I was thinking the same thing!! We can play with these guy's, they are going to be desperate! (y)
:thinking:But they also have to know, counting London, we are 7-1 on the Road, and I would be willing to bet our ' Road Warrior's' will go in with the Attitude, "Take-No-Prisoner's!!" !!:yess:
