So back in October of 2019 I confidently added the following prediction to my Profile page:

"Rams next Superbowl is the 2021 season."

I hope I turn out to be right!!!
I knew we were not capable in 2019, and wouldn't be capable in 2020. We needed some changes.

What predictions have you made about the RAMS over the years?
And how did your predictions turn out?

Does this count as predicting a trade and departure of Goff? The Goffettes weren't happy about it 2 years ago.

Yes. Definitely counts!
I was hoping we'd trade Goff back then too, but wasn't sure enough to predict that it would happen.

Back when Kurt Warner was playing in the Arena League, I told my wife if the Rams had Warner they would win the Super Bowl. A few years later we were at Candlestick and the Rams were getting smoked by the whiners and out trots this Kurt Warner guy. I was pissed that he was on the bench behind Tony Banks. Then the 99 season happened and proved me right when I stated the Rams would win the Super Bowl if they had Warner playing QB for them.

Predicted that Brady might get a penalty in the last game. When they called it I was like no way hahahaha, that's awesome. Predicted something else in the game, mentioned after that I called it. Maybe a turnover? I think I said strip sack or something before Von got it. But that's just a few little lucky stuff. Crazy to see happen though.

I said the Rams would go 9-7 in 2017 after a 4-12 season in 2016 and that Goff would be a 1000 times better under McVay

Everybody at work thought I was bat shit crazy

And I am still ticked off that I didn't wake up the next morning at Vegas and putting at minimum $100 on the 200-1 Rams in 1999 after going to the closed sports book the night before

Keeping it real...The Rams can beat any of the 3 teams remaining. They're all good enough to beat the other. SF has a hard road because offensively they don't have enough so I rank them 4th.

MINDSET, INTENSITY, AND TOUGHNESS is gonna win.

Why do my Rams scare me???? Because of both the SF and Tampa games where they imploded with big leads.

IT CANNOT HAPPEN FOLKS...THE RAMS CAN DO THIS. IT STARTS SUNDAY!!!

I don't think Stafford, AD99, or Ramsey are gonna let us down Sunday...IT'S GONNA BE ON!!!

Wow! Nice! That is a very specific prediction you had. Very cool.

Before this season, after we landed Stafford, I predicted 15-2, NFC West Champs and winning the Super Bowl. I was a little off after the three game skid in November, but still on track for the Super Bowl prediction.... It sure would be bad to lose that $100K I dropped in Vegas on the Rams to win it all.

Nice. The penalty on Brady prediction was well done. We'd never expect it with how much the refs usually pamper him.

In 1996 I predicted that Steve Walsh would come in and rediscover his championship form and lead our Rams to the playoffs!!!! Woohooo!!

In week 18 I felt the best matchup in the championship round would be with the Niners. Jimmy is a good QB but not great. He's mobile but not a running QB. If the Rams can get on top early and if Morris simply stays aggressive the entire game, the Rams can win this game.

Much will depend upon the OL which has proved this year that they are a good unit but not a great unit. They need upgrades at both OGs this offseason. That said they are good enough to beat the Niners if Stafford doesn't hold the ball for 5 seconds like he's often done. McVay needs to give him check-down options. Be it RB or TE it needs to be there early. Stafford has to understand if he's unsure of what he's seeing that he needs to simply throw it away. A punt is better than a turnover.

McVay needs to start Michel and give him the bulk of the snaps. Akers is rusty and it showed with his turnovers. Sean gets infatuated with shiny new toys. Michel got them this far, McVay needs to get the HR visions out of his head and come down to earth. That's why Shanny beats him. Shanny knows, Sean always wants the big play and isn't patient, hence he plays Akers the take it to the house threat over the guy that got him there.

If McVay tempers his instincts and is patient, and if Morris simply plays the D aggressively all game, the Rams win. Again this is about the Rams playing a clean game. They play clean they are the more talented team and that will carry them to the win. Both McVay and Morris need to play to the strength of their offense and defense respectively.

So I see the Rams winning this game. I see the Bengals beating the Chiefs. The Rams are built to beat teams like the Bengals more so than KC. Mahomes is like Wilson used to be, and unlike Wilson, he's still got a lot of rabbits in his hat.

If the Rams play the Bengals they win unless they completely meltdown. Against KC it's a toss-up. KC is primarily one-dimensional, but Mahomes can beat you in many ways. The Rams would have to play the perfect game on both sides of the ball and on STs to beat KC in the Super Bowl. So yeah I'm pulling for the Bengals and praying for the Rams simply to play clean.

I predict a Rams / Chiefs barn burner of a Super Bowl with the Rams winning 55 to 52 in regulation.

When the Rams were playing the 49ers in Anaheim in 1986, they lined up for a FG. I was watching the game in the barracks with some of my shipmates and I said "block it and run it back for a TD." So what happened? Somebody (I forget who) blocked the kick and Leroy Irvin scooped it up and took it back for a TD.

Gonna try that again on Sunday.

That was awesome. Mr Untouchable bragging about what he gets away with and the very next game getting called for his shit for the very first time in his career. I sure hope that and a loss are the last memory we have of Tommy Boy!!!
