Luna, who owns a restaurant in Oakland, was mingling in a crowd of about 16 people at SoFi Stadium, most of them wearing what appeared to be 49ers jerseys, when he pushed a man wearing a Rams jersey from behind, Butts said after viewing the video.

While I hope the guy is ok in the long run, if he was in a group of 49ers fans and pushed a Rams fan from behind, then he was the one that provoked the incident and thus shares a lot of responsibility for what happened. Maybe they exchanged words, but he's the one that got physical, and pushed him from behind. It's ridiculous if anyone thinks the guy in the Rams jersey should just take it.

Well, I'd counter that by stating we're not in 3rd grade anymore. There is no law that states you need to punch someone who pushed you.

Think about how countries deal with one another. When a country shows some act of aggression on another, the attacked country huddles up to discuss an "appropriate response". There are a range of responses that show they will not back down, but are not disproportionate. You don't launch nukes when a jet is "accidentally" shot down, for example.

The dude got pushed, and punched the other guy.

I remember playing in a casual, intramural flag football game in college, where I reached and grabbed a guy's flag while he was trying to avoid me, and he lost his balance and fell. He approached me, pissed off that I "tackled" him, and I just calmly told him "chill out, was just an accident". It should have ended there, but the dude turned away, then sucker punched me right in the mouth. This was not an appropriate response, and I was not pleased. The escalation afterwards, in my opinion, was completely justified by his response.

This Whiner fan never had that chance as he was unlucky and hit the ground hard. I hope he recovers fully. I also don't understand why the guy who punched him chose that response, in a parking lot on his way to the NFC Championship game. I would not want to risk not being able to see the game, but that's just me I guess. Nor do I understand why the Whiner fan was not helped by ANYBODY? Nobody will convince me this wasn't seen by somebody who could have helped an unconscious person on the ground.

Just a sad thing all around. Will we never learn? The Giants fan that was beat up in the Dodgers parking lot has permanent brain damage...

My guess is that experience has taught him that after shoving the other guy back, there is a strong chance that punches are going to be thrown. Better to be the puncher than the guy in the coma.

I guess you and I just have a different philosophy on life. I have a son who I tell to never instigate anything physical with anyone, which would certainly include pushing him from behind. But I damn sure would tell him he has every right to pop a guy in the mouth who engages in a physical provocation against him in that manner.

Yes, it's unfortunate that the guy suffered a head injury and had to be put in a coma. But the whole thing could have been prevented had he not pushed the Rams fan in the back.

I get your point, however, laying hands on someone in a threatening way is also not to be tolerated either. Play stupid games.... you know the rest.

Problem is you can't ever assume what someone's reaction is going to be when being put in that situation. So really they are both equally at fault. Just because one guy got knocked out and one didn't doesn't make a difference. And to add to it, people get hurt from getting pushed too. Like falling and smacking your head on a curb... Just my opinion.

What's super funny about this is as I read it, I see your avatar picture of Snead, calmly lecturing me....

Now I have changed my opinion. Because Snead.

Fuck those stupid bastards, I hate those whiners more than anything. I love that Deeboo got knocked out.

I love that he cried like a little bitch and then made pathetic excuses about "pumped in crowd noise" after the game.

Deebo is a cocky, mouthy motherfucker without a trace of humility and deserves all the comeuppance he gets.

The truth is that Jimmy G almost made it to a SB. I think he will find a place to fit in somewhere. Game managers are useful if you have a good running game and killer defensive squad. He’d be a pretty competent choice for teams like the Aints or Panthers. JMHO.
You are oversimplifying it. Trent Dilfer won a Superbowl, so did Foles and Flacco. Jimmy G has a very good team around him and wasn’t good in the playoffs.

Then there is the stat saying of all playoff QBs in the modern era, Jimmy G is the worst for fourth quarter performance. (Something like that).

JG is limited. He’s best trait is his quick release. He only fits into certain offense. He’s a short to mid range passer with serious questions about his performance under pressure. The Niners only have ups second round pick to get him. Maybe they can get that back. But teams know they don’t need him and are moving on, so unless there is a bidding war I think they maybe get a third round pick.

Police have video of the interaction, but haven't releases it. Apparently it was over very quick. The 49er fan pushed someone in a Rams jersey and then was dropped with a single shot to the face. That guy left with the man unconscious and they are still looking for him.
Sounds like the guy was dumb enough to get physical with someone. I’m not surprised. Most Niners fans are dumb. I don’t blame the guy who hit him after being pushed.
I read through the 4th quarter comeback on that whiners forum while relaxing in the hot tub. So gratifying haha.

They were soooo cocky and confident walking into that game so glad we won this one. They can’t ever say shit to us until they beat us in the championship game.
The Niners team was dancing coming through the tunnel as if the game was already won. Bush league.

Yeah, he did at a podium during an interview ... don't know if it was immediately postgame, but I did see it somewhere.

Edit - found it. Viewer discretion advised, as this video contains extreme bitchiness by a whiny little sore loser bitch:

Not sure if it has been made clear, but this post-game press conference is from January 9th; and was after the the Week 18 loss to the Niners to close-out the Regular Season. It's not from this past Sunday.

Ok, thanks for the correction, I wasn't aware of that.

Doesn't change the fact that Deebo is a whiny little bitch though. ;)

Deebo is a classless punk and I loved how he bitch cried at the end. But it was just more than OBJ that went up to him. One or two other Rams did as well. Would they have done the same? No they would have taunted and laughed. Hell they were taunting the entire game. They deserved to lose.

Rams = class
49ers = classless punks

The Bengals are a very good team. It's going to be a tough but winnable matchup for the Rams. The key will be to get quick pressure on Burrows to either sack him or force bad throws. Morris MUST stay aggressive the entire game. Burrows showed he will eat up a soft shell zone.

I love him on my fantasy football team but so happy to see the Rams send him home a loser. WAB (whinny ass bitch) got what he deserved.
