Can't believe Ebukam was in there for 38 plays. He didn't have a single thing show up on the stat line and only a couple tackles last week against Dallas. And Polite with only one snap again. Pleasantly surprised by Young though. Kiser and Young turning into a pretty good pair out there.

Possibly, it could be scheme fit. Credit to Fuller for beating out both Rapp and Burgess.
Fuller just seems like the "perfect fit" to go with Ramsey/ Hill/ Williams & JJ III. Not the biggest, not the fastest but plays like he been there for many seasons.

I would not remove this rookie from this starting secondary defense @ this point in time.......keep on rolling with him & continually working in both talented Burgess (behind the corners), & Rapp (behind the starting safeties), onto the field to keep this defense fresh!

Our secondary can be the best in the NFL!

I know we have tons of secondary talent. But it’s still very surprising (I won’t say disappointing ...yet) that Burgess hasn’t played even one down. He’s not even getting in on STs. Is he hurt?

polite - I trust the staff. But with some weak outside/edge rushing the QB, as a fan I want to see more from him.

Can’t wait to see Lewis on the field. We need him.

I’m amazed by Fuller. Dude is lighting it up and basically stole Rapps job! Learned that lesson, stay healthy or your ass could get replaced by someone stepping up!

The quality of this defense is on the back end vs the pass. If we were to somehow unearth a good rush from the blindside edge, say Polite or Lewis, it would have immense impact. So we'll see but I think our defensive identity is a tough team to run and throw on with a 3T that can eat your QB on any given week. Not an elite (top 5 type) unit.

It's still way too early but some key stats thus far...

Scoring offense: 28.5ppg (T-8th)
Scoring defense: 18.0 ppg (T-3rd)
Yards per rush: 4.4 ypc (14th)
Yards per pass attempt: 9.1 (2nd)
Passer rating: 108.5 (7th)

So far so good. :beer2::cool:

Sorry the site that I used doesn't list ST only players. Burgess is getting snaps on ST.

David Long not a ton of reps, either.

Then again, I am unfamiliar with normal distribution of this data.
