The reality is Akers is averaging 2.4 per carry. He hasn't been the same. Not sure the Rams don't make a move and drop him before the trade deadline. He isn't good in pass pro and if he isn't being productive then what's the point.

We also need McVay to be “less stubborn“ as well. What I mean by that is mix personnel packages a little more often.Which was my point the last two years in which some are finally starting to wake up to the reality.
We need a premier feature back to bring back the versatility of McVays offense, pretty soon we are going to get stonewalled again like the Bears did to us in 2018 that created the blueprint to stop McVay before he stubbornly changed things up to start rolling again.
We need a premier RB and some OL help.

So you just want the Rams to release Akers? You've given-up on him already? The reality is Akers is averaging 2.4 per carry. He hasn't been the same. Hunt is probably the closest to an "every down back" that's on a team as their second option. I'd love to make a push for him but doubt we could afford him. I almost feel like we need a punishing RB that could pound the ball in between the tackles for those short hard yards. Kind of like what CJ Anderson offered us during his short stint.HBs seemed fine to me today. If Kareem Hunt hit the market, I'd be interested. Otherwise, I'm not too concerned.
I thought so too, but how much of that was because it was the Falcons' front as opposed to the Bills'?3) the chemistry on the right side was better with the new lineup.
I knew as soon as I saw you mentioned me here what it was about. I’m curious though on the leagues position numbers can a fullback be an 80s number?Lost in all this RB howdeedoo is the fact that @OldSchool finally got his FB in the offensive backfield. Congrats OS.![]()

Anchrum has to be bummed, because it was his moment to show what he can do.
We need a big play element too.We need someone who can consistently keep drives going, especially when we need to run the clock down.
