They don't look wounded. They look like the good team and we look like the bad one. This isn't about one team being backed in the corner. This is about the Rams, yet again, not coming out and playing good football after a big win. It's time this team steps it up.

They play like the team I said would show up. No team wants to start 0-2 and I called it wounded when I also said they had dominant lines and not many agreed. So calling them wounded was only in the record department. They have dominated us but I have seen lots of holds and a cut block on every play on our defense.I called it right. Give me credit man.
I don't give a crap about credit. You can have it. This is a team the Rams have no business losing to. That's what I care about. Good teams don't play like shit after every big win.

Lighten up Jerr I called it and posted it when no one else thought it would happen. Screw credit.
I'm not going to lighten up. We are losing a game to a team we have no business losing to. That doesn't make me happy. I don't care about justifications. I care about results. And this team has failed to get it done yet again. Story of the last decade. The credit is all yours. You have it. I don't care about who has credit for predicting the Rams terrible performance. This shit is unacceptable and I'm not pleased. Enjoy the rest of the game. I'm going to sit here and stew.
My 2 cents here. Players are very prideful. All week long the media was talking the RAMS up after their win against Seattle. Don't think for a minute it didn't piss off every Redskins player, coach, etc., having to hear about how great the defense is, Tavon and the special teams play, blah, blah, blah. It appears to me our guys read too much of the their press clippings, probably thought it was going to be an easy win vs. Washington. I think we overlook the fact we have to play like we did against Seattle, every week, in a league where any given Sunday anyone can win. I'm not sure where this team is, but we are no where near being a playoff contender. Like @jrry32 said, it's about results. If we want to be considered a playoff contending team, we have to play the same against the best teams and the worst teams. I just cannot figure this team out. We play inspired football against Seattle, and then crap ourselves against a team that is not better than us, they just wanted it more today. Again, Washington showed their pride not wanting to go 0-2, and we thought we had is won just by showing up. It will be interesting to see if this team shows it's pride next week against Pittsburgh who, at the drop of the hat, can put up points in bunches. Fans deserve better than this mediocre play.
I absolutely agree, but it also highlights one depressing fact: we're not a good team. We have so much potential, but we're unable to consistently convert that to wins. Time to evaluate how we change that situation.

But I have a feeling Gruden played the clip of our "Captains" being trotted out last year. I'm sure Gruden was pissed about it too.
Yeah, Fisher tried to divert the attention by saying something about it being intended to jab at Shanihan or something (not sure I got that right)...
But it was a stupid thing to do and could have only contributed to adding more motivation for Gruden, his coaches and players.
They were fired up!
