Stafford definitely hit a point in his career when he got on a nutrition/diet kick. He was almost 240 as a freshman at Georgia and was in the neighborhood of chubby early in his career in Detroit. McVay says he plays a bunch of tennis in the offseason.

Agreed. One of my favorite parts was Stafford talking about how the league has changed defensively since he was drafted. His first few years the whole league was playing mostly Tampa 2 with the same zone pressures. Then everyone started copying Seattle when they were running cover 3 with the legion of boom. And now everyone likes to run a 2 hi shell look with simulated pressures. It’s fun to hear them get into the weeds like that.
