That is effing DUMB.

Especially when the pass protection was terrible and wasn't holding up.

I'm not counting the last play that was a run. Because WHY BOTHER TO DO THAT.

This was a bad game for McVay and I am afraid this is a trend that I have seen before.

I get it they were down 21-0 but even when the score wasn't 21-0 it was passpasspass. When it was one or two scores passpasspass.

The Bucs had no success running overall but guess what. They kept doing it.

The Bucs defense just pinned thier ears back and attacked the pocket because it was obvious the Rams were not going to run.

I'm not happy with McVay and if I hear "shoot we'll fix that" I am going to break something.

Maybe something inexpensive, like a coffee cup, but I'm gonna break something.

Anyone listen to
Mcvay presser ?

I’m telling ya Todd isn’t right ...

Has any team that gave up 55 points in a game ever go on to make or win the SB? Or make the playoffs for that matter??

Super Bowl winning teams highest points given up in 1 game:

49 by the 2011 Giants who beat the Patsies in the Super Bowl.
2nd highest was 48 allowed by the Raiders in 1976 who beat the Vikes in the SB.
So no 50 burgers allowed by the winning SB team.

Several Super Bowl winning teams got smashed at least once in the regular seaon.
Worst loss was the Patsies losing to the Bills 31-0 in Buffalo in 2003. So those teams do get wrecked.

The fact that the Rams came back to "almost" pull this one out says a lot about them. Those other SB teams that got blasted were not in it at the end.

But again, it's how you finish at the end of the year.

I did. Were the two open missed TDS on the o-line or Mcvay? What about the pick 6?

Two open TD's were definitely on Goff. I said he wasn't perfect. And what pick 6? The one Peters returned?

To summarize this game as "Goff ain't it" is disregarding the fact that the dude had no run game, was hit on half of his drop backs, threw 68 times and was under siege all day. And our defense had seemingly no answer for anything the Bucs did.

When's the last time a team won by throwing the ball almost 70 times?

I'm not even mad. We got punched in the mouth hard after we came out with a terrible gameplan but I saw a team that played their hearts out to get back in this game. Definitely an any given Sunday reminder that nobody is untouchable and we still have a lot of work to do.

lost all your money again?

LOL

my vent.... drown your sorrow vodka doesnt taste as good as victory vodka
I didn't bet on the Rams...lol..I bet on the Saints and haven't looked at the score!

68 attempts for Goff. Yeah you don't win throwing it 68 times.

right because it means you are down by 21 plus...

The how many times we ran the ball line is some annoying shit...

One of those failures of common sense that everyone chimes in on.

He should be entering his prime is actually how I worded it. He's in year 4 in the NFL as the #1 pick of the draft. You bet your ass he should be entering his prime and not regressing.
Just because his stats are down does not mean he is regressing. The whole offense stats are down. We have had more drops this year for instance. We have had more miscommunications between WR and QB. Havenstein has played awful. Today the offense was a penalty machine.

We have multiple "overpaid" players atm, and I'm not averse to trading any of them. This season is gonna be what it is though, so I wouldn't go looking to overpay for a lineman in trade right now. Instead why don't we put Edwards in the MFing game and see if he can give these guys some cajones.

Wonder how this is going to be addressed. That’s just crazy talk man.

I agree...a little more balance could help Goff and the OL.

I don’t agree with this, the best qb’s in the game are 30+ bedsides a select few. Guy is still young, one bad thing about young qbs is they force stuff they shouldn’t.

I'd much rather trade our 1st round pick. For one, we don't seem to ever use it anyway, always trading down. If we aren't going to pick 1st round talent anyway, we might as well ship it out to fill a hole on the roster. Moreover, our window to win is now, so I don't mind mortgaging the future a bit. More accurately. I think last year was our best hope, but sadly we didn't get the job done.

Even better than moving a 1st rounder would be moving Josh Reynolds. But I am not sure he is valuable enough on his own to net a very good o-lineman. Maybe packaged with a 2nd or 3rd round pick?

The o-line is not near good enough. Hate to say I saw this coming when they let Saffold walk. https://ramsondemand.com/threads/saffold-signs-with-tennessee.57700/page-9#post-1193155
