After July 15th though he cant redo his deal. Whoever would trade for him during the season cant sign him long term. That was why Alshon Jeffrey didn't get traded.

Don't understand the desire to trade Johnson. Who you going to have at CB?

Right on, didn't realize that. And I'm fine with keeping him and getting that round 3 pick if they don't get him signed, so it's all gravy.
