Les Snead was not very active at the trade deadline in 2025. The only move he made was a trade for Titans DB Roger McCreary for a conditional 5th round pick in 2026. McCreary was injured most of the year with the Rams and saw limited action in the playoffs. By Contrast the Seahawks used a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick to acquire Rasheed Shaheed who provided them the deep threat that they needed after their rookie speedster Tory Horton was lost to an injury. Shaheed responded with a pro bowl season and was a big factor in both wins over the Rams after the trade deadline. Would Shaheed have been as dynamic with the Rams? Not likely as the Rams special teams are not in the same class as the Seahawks but when you consider that he could have been that third receiver that TuTu Atwell could never be because he wasn’t active mainly because he couldn’t play special teams but especially in light of the Xavier Smith disaster on Sunday it makes one wonder what if. Rams didn’t consider the trade for Shaheed because they simply don’t value special teams and special teams cost them a chance at a special season. Maybe it’s time to rethink that strategy Les and Sean. There’s no salary cap on special teams coaches. Why not find a proven one this time and give him some players that can run, tackle, catch and return kicks. It’s beyond time for this.

I thought we should have traded for Shaheed but whatever I guess

....don't forget "Block"!
True. We need everything. I saw today that the Rams have requested an interview with the Browns special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone who’s considered to be a good one. Fingers crossed. Let’s make a weaknesses a strength. An established special teams coach will pound the table for players that can help.
