is the knee scaring everyone off??? just got home and see he's still on the board.. thought for sure the 9ers were gonna grab him just now

wish we more picks :ROFLMAO::cry:

Micro fracture surgery is serious business. On the knee of a LB built on his speed that's devastating. If it's as bad as they're saying he might go undrafted which would be a tragedy.

.

He said he may eventually need surgery. He's good to go for about 3 years.

.

oh fuck didn't realize it was that serious..

depressing man. all the talent in the world 20 years old trying to live your dream and you go from sure fire top 10 pick to possibly undrafted

Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith are 2 of the most dominating linebackers to hit the draft in awhile. And neither drafted in round 1 because of injury
Amazing how close to the green carrot

Same thing happened to Dallas' La'el Collins last year, although for very different reasons.

Some team will eventually gamble on him, get him his surgery, let him sit out the season and probably have a huge bargain priced talent for many years. jmo.

No. Jack will go soon. @dieterbrock is right, though. Two LBs who were arguably good enough to go top 5 and both are dropping to Day 2/3 due to injuries. Really sad.

If we're going to trade up, should be for Tyler Boyd or Sterling Shepard.

would love this. who do you prefer?

Myles Jack is the only one left worth giving up multiple picks for. He's a west coast kid and played for UCLA, and he can buddy up in the locker room with Todd Gurley to help him get acclimated and past the medical issues. Everyone else, to me, an also ran as far as electric play making goes.

This could be a HUGE deal for this team. Imagine what we could do with him if we turned Barron into a tackle machine.

It just all lines up too nicely. Gurley Goff Jack.....welcome to LA!!!!

Or.....its all in my head and just draft day excitement and of course, its a huge risk.

If somehow he drops all the way to the 4th and is there for us, i'd pull the trigger. Get him his surgery, let him sit behind Ogletree a year and then rotate him in next year.

We don't have enough picks for all that.

If he falls to the bottom of the 2nd, even... someone will take him and probably redshirt him and see about getting him the surgery...
