If the Rams signed Burns I wouldn't hesitate to trade/cut Floyd for 2023, even with that Dead money hit.

Yes I understand the potential bud but this season is no time for potential it's not the proper message and there isn't really time to wait on this wait on that wait to get healthy wait for Obj. While we do all that waiting Detroit could be getting another top 15 pick from us. The Rams develop talent but they do it accordingly not at the expense of an entire season.
Lastly when have we known them to just let sleeping dog's lye since Mcvay got here anyway.

No I'm aware of when tak was released but he was making a point a connection it's just an opinion just like everyone else but it does make sense that's. Until something is actually official all we have is rumored speculation and conjecture to live on sadly.

Don't think this is a factor, at all.
They're not good enough to compete, even in that division.

I think it could actually *benefit* the Rams.
Carolina is on pace for the #1 overall pick... if they don't have that.. they need more draft ammo for a future QB.

Hope you're right but I can see the other side. If they feel they can compete with just a few more pieces, they may not want to deal Burns either. They are literally undefeated in their own division. I'd rather they lose and have no hope. That's better for a deal in my opinion.

They just fired their coach and don’t have a real NFL QB.

They want to get off the hamster wheel… they need to blow it up, imo.

But Burns is a guy you build around.. IF you lock him up.

I don't think they are going to blow it up all the way. Especially if they get hope from this win of what can be. Burns looked good as hell and would be a pain to pull away from them now. I think they may try to lock him up. Then there's this. Guess I might be wrong saying Carolina was bullshitting earlier.

I get it lol but he gives his explanation of why etc. And how it resembles last year but again at this point til something happens most of us punch drunk and trying to suck up any morsel scrap of information even a god damn picture of a ram from an animal lover lol. I just don't want to go into next week the the squad as currently constituted. Fingers crossed bro

3 are very important DB's! DC Morris loves to utilize mega amounts of DB in his defense & this season he has been paralyzed due to a lack of healthy DB's. Once he has these defenders in place I do expect to see some magic finally from Morris & cease all these loose coverages & begin to attack. As far as ER's Dan Hardy will be added to this ER room shortly.

Now offensively the return of Allen/ Shelton/ Jefferson & rookie RB Williams will be huge for McVay. The OL has a very good opportunity to gain strength with Allen/ Shelton back thus sending Evans & Kolone back to reserve status.

Ref. Snead past dealing......Snead's team is not in the same kind of position it has been over the last half dozen years & his options are far fewer. Snead has much more limits on his draft capital & has serious cap limits for the near future.

If Snead continues down the same past path as he has, he is sure to eventually bring this team to a breaking point where it will have to go into a complete rebuilding process for a long period of time. Being a Ram fan during this long period will be NO fun.

I do realize most members here will reject my above-projected future if he does continue to go into further debt.

I don’t see that they have a choice. AD, Stafford, Kupp, Floyd, etc… are not getting any younger. Trying to stay relevant in the long term has not been working for most teams. So going all in until this current roster is kaput seems like the best option even if it does mean a complete rebuild in a few years.

Worth noting unless he got hurt it was awfully weird James Robinson was not given a carry today. I'm not saying Rams but you never know but seems if he isn't hurt he going somewhere.
